buy only if you need them right now
i had a new pair in my closest. after two years the cork dries out and makes them unift to use as they crack and break apart when you bend them into your boots. don't buy the cork ones!

Just enough extra depth

This is the perfect insole to add a little depth between the outer sole and your foot (compared to the standard insole that comes with your shoe/boot). I have a neuroma in my foot and if the sole is thin, I feel every small rock on the trail. This adds just enough to stop my neuroma from feeling every single small rock.
