Size chart

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what I was hoping for The sizing on these is bizarre. I have never had to wear a wide shoe, but had to in these. The regular is teeeny. They may stretch out quite a bit, but I could barely get my fairly slender foot in. There was no one way thick socks were fitting, nor my insoles, as these have little arch support on their own. The length was fine in my normal size. Because I had to get the wide, my narrow heel sloshes around a bit. If you just want these for fashions sake, they should work just fine. If you need a boot that's functional in wet conditions past a light rain, I would keep looking. If you're like me, and want both, well, I hope someone else gets it right soon. These are quite adjustable in terms of calf size with all the lacing, however you might run out of lace. It's great that the laces are organic, but they're a hideous color, and so thin that they're likely to break the first time they're caught on a branch. These tongue is attached to the grommets only until the ankle, unlike all of my husbands boots. If you ever get wet past that, the grommet holes will let water in where there are not speed laces. The leather seems quality on these, and I do like the waterproof zipper. The soles are not stitched on, so I doubt you could ever resole these without some leaking issues. This also makes the foot look really narrow since most boots like this have some space around them with the stitching, but these are flush against the leather. Overall, I was expecting something a little tougher for the price tag. I've had a few pair of Timberlands, and these rank low for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Shaft too tall in size 5.5 I wear a size 5, but ordered 5.5 since that was what was available. Great looking boot, does fit true to size, not narrow at all. I even felt they were a tad wide, but they would work for me with thick socks. However they are too tall and so they are painful to bend at the knee. I don't understand why they wouldn't make the boot shaft shorter on the smaller sizes. I doubt there are a lot of tall people walking around with size 5 feet. Back they go.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Narrow Boot Even When Ordering Wide Option I gave this boot 4 stars only because it runs very narrow! I read reviews prior to purchasing this boot so I ordered a 6 Wide. I have small feet but wide calve muscles. The boots work for wide calves but anyone with wide feet should not bother purchasing these boots. I'm going to have to break them in a bit for them to be comfortable for my tiny feet. I think anyone with wider feet will be very disappointed. Other than that. .. they are great quality boots and I was VERY happy with the price I paid! The big test will be the cold New England winter!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Boots I am so happy I bought these. Despite the reviews (on other sites as well), I went ahead with the order. They fit true to size. They are high quality and look great. Not necessarily built as a hiking boot. Camping, walking in the mountains and in the city with these will be great. Very cute, too. Great buy. Won't need another pair for 10 years. Built well. 2nd pair of Timberlands in 20+ years.
