Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2016 Covert jacket Bought for Massachusetts everyday use in light rain and snow, not bought for extreme mountain conditions. Well made, subtle rain drop dark-blue pattern on black with lighter color lining, plenty of pockets. Looks great with bright blue Burton hoody.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Favorite jacket right now This may be an excellent jacket for snowboarding but it was purchased as a commuter coat, everyday jacket. Handles PNW weather very well, it's lightweight, the non-removable hood is the right size snd convenient. It resists stains, blocks the wind fairly well. It is indeed cut slightly slimmer, the sleeves are long enough. I don't love the pockets; no inside pockets at all, except for a small one for lift ticket, id. The outside waistline pockets are big enough, they zip down, but I question the style choice of stitching faux pockets in the same area. The chest pockets are okay if you only cary glasses and tunes. More than that, and things start getting confusing; so far I've mistakenly littered: a lip balm, cellophane, some corn. So, covert maybe, tactical kinda, and the hood is awesome for sleeping in a public place, the pockets are weird, and it's a fine breathable raincoat.

How cold is this rated for?

Asked by: kitkeyes
Most manufacturers do not put temperature ratings on jackets because they are too subjective. Not only is everybody different, but conditions, nature of activity, type and amount of layering underneath can affect how a certain temperature will feel.
