Disappointed

I've had down booties before, but have always been disappointed with the insulation in the sole, which is for me the most critical part. These soles are sturdier than others I've purchased and the rest of the slipper is comfortable and cozy, so I decided I could use an additional insulating insole and they would be fine. Unfortunately, the nylon fabric used on the outside of the bootie is thin and flimsy. I wore them during the not-unreasonable act of making my bed; the fabric snagged on the underside of my bed frame and ripped. I've worn other, less-expensive nylon-topped slippers and bashed my toes against beds, chairs, and table legs without harm to anything but my pride. Had my goal been to have toasty tootsies whilst drinking wine and eating bonbons, these would have been perfect. Unfortunately I do need to use my feet whilst they are slipper-shod, so my quest for a warm and practical down bootie continues.

Love these

These are the only thing that keep my perpetually chilly feet from freezing. I love the lack of structure that some are not fond of in these reviews because I wear them on the couch, snuggled under a blanket. These feel like little mini sleeping bags on my feet. So cozy. I do have to wear these with socks, because otherwise my feet feel sweaty, but otherwise, so perfect.

Warm toes

I was gifted these years ago and I love them!! I recently bought them for my friend and she absolutely loves them! These are especially nice if your house has wood or tile floors.

Keeps feet toasty warm!

These slippers keep my feet toasty warm. They do not have any support so I added some shoe inserts. If they had good support they would be 5 stars.

Down Booties

I am in love with these slippers/booties (enough that I have bought the other color within a week)! They are my favorites since my first REI down slippers that were given to me more than 30:years ago, when I hadn’t even heard of REI. My perpetually cold feet won’t be anymore.

My Feet Are Toasty Warm

I LOVE these booties! My feet are always cold, even when I wear a couple pairs of thick socks or regular winter slippers. So, I decided to splurge a bit to see if these camping booties would actually keep my feet warm, and they do!! I'm a 6 1/2 shoe of regular width and the size small booties are the perfect length. They do have a little bit of room in the width, so don't expect them to fit super snug around your foot, but I actually like this feature. I like to be able to wiggle my feet around a little when I'm resting on the couch and not feel "confined". Also, some people enjoy the very "squishy" feel of a slipper when walking. These aren't very squishy, but again...I don't miss that at all, and if I did I could easily add an insert in to make them even more so. I highly recommend these and will most likely be getting my mom a pair for Christmas!

Cozy feet!

I love these slippers! My feet are always cold in the winter and I always wear house slippers. For years, I have always bought the sheep skin slippers, even then, my feet were not always warm. I purchased these and should have done so years ago. My feet are ALWAYS warm! There is some padding in the sole for comfort/cushion. You can keep them up high, over your ankle or fold the top down for an ankle slipper. These are the answer for cold feet! Love, love, love them!

Warm but don’t last

I love these slippers in that they are warm and cozy. But a few months in and the soles are falling apart (I only wear them indoors). I wear them every day so I’ve gotten some use out of them, but my previous down booties lasted 20 years and these aren’t going to make it a year. For the price, they should last longer.

Gotta fix the soles

Warm but soles split from bootie on every pair. After 4 months of wearing them indoors the bottoms have totally fallen apart and the foam padding is almost completely exposed.
