Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very cute Super cute, I got the vest in the Sulfur Yellow color and it's the perfect color combo for fall/winter! It's more muted and not loud at all. The size I got was XS, I'm 5'4" and 120-125 lb and it fits perfectly with room for layering. Super warm and love that it's made out of recycled down. I've worn it in the rain and the water resistance is excellent, and the hood and shoulder material is great for repelling the rain. The only con I have about the vest is that it attracts A LOT of lint!! I'm not sure if it's only the sulfur yellow that has this problem, but it attracts any and all types of lint. I always have to use a lint roller on the vest before I wear it. I love the vest so much that I can overlook it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it but so expensive I thought about buying this for at least two weeks and eventually gave in. It is way out of the price range of what I would pay. I really love it though so I ended up buying it. The first time I have ever had a vest. Until now I thought vests were dumb, but now I see the utility. It keeps me warm but allows my arms to breathe which is something I always struggle with when jackets have sleeves that don't have the underarm vents. So, I guess I am happy :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from super warm and cozy without feeling bulky This was way way out of my price range but I was feeling both a little saucy and a bit disappointed with the other options available. The outer shell is a durable-feeling material and the inner fabric is a soft nylon with a pretty nice mushroom pattern. The filling is 100% recycled down, which is awesome and I wish they offered more products like that. I wore this vest over a lightweight jacket during a late November desert wind storm on my bicycle and was toasty warm without getting overheated, and didn't feel the wind at all, in terms of its chill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this vest Received vest today and its better than I thought it would be. Very durable material and I was absolutely THRILLED with the inner lining.. The specs for online purchase only says its "a fun lining" but what they don't say is that its MUSHROOMS!! WHAAAT??? LOVE THIS SO MUCH!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So cozy! I bought this week only a week ago so I can't attest to its durability, but I can say that it is so cozy and comfortable! It keeps me perfectly warm without being too hot, and looks great with my Sorel rain boots and jeans. The little mushrooms on the interior lining are adorable! The red is actually more of a maroon than it looks in the pic..

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Costly, but cozy and cute. I've been jonesing after this vest for ages, and my partner bought it for me for my birthday--haven't taken it off since! I got the mogul blue. I'm 5'9, 150lbs, and I got a medium. It's snug over things when I layer, but not tight. Perfect fit. PROS: It's adorable, and so warm and cozy, and I'm so happy that the inside pocket fits my iPhone 6s in the Lifeproof battery case! It's not often that my phone fits inside any pocket on women's clothes, and you can zip the pocket closed over it, too. It was one of my favorite things about it when I tried it on! Extremely comfortable, easy to get on and off, and using the hood makes me feel like I'm sinking into a hot bath. Coooomfy! CONS: Price. Oh man. I would not have been able to justify purchasing this for myself, no matter how much I loved it. Even with the 20% off coupon from REI I felt guilty about my partner buying it. Patagonia is wonderful, and ethical, but OUCH. The other drawback is the 'stickiness' of the outer fabric. I have a dog and a cat, have really long hair, and I wear wristies and knitwear and it picks up everything. I'm forever picking bits off of it, or the kids are picking bits off of it. I don't wear it while I knit. RECOMMENDATION: Buy it if you have the extra money and you love it. It's going to last, and last, and last, and you'll look good wherever those hiking boots take you. Find a coupon though, and maybe have a lint brush handy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ireland Bought this vest for my trip to Ireland. Absolutely not disappointed. Haven't even used my rain jacket, it's soft, it's warm and toasty, and it keeps me dry!! Loving it!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality and super warm Other reviewers have commented on the steep cost and the tendency of this vest to attract lint -- this is all true. I'm willing to pay extra for Patagonia products because it's a fantastic benefit corporation and the quality is clearly excellent. The vest is a super puffy down (be prepared to look like a marshmallow, especially if you layer underneath), the water repellant outer material works great, and it's super warm. I get compliments on this thing constantly. I also love the mushroom print on the inside! I'm 5'6" and 125 lbs and the XS fits great.

Dumb question, but i have been looking literally everywhere for medium sulphur yellow bivy down vest. Does it come back or once it's gone, it's gone? And is there any way to order it elsewhere?! Thank you!

Unfortunately as of April 2017, we do not plan to stock the Sulphur Yellow color. All available colors are on our website.
