Great support, comfortable
The pack is very comfortable for the wearer. I'm not sure my toddler is super comfortable because his arms are at an odd angle because of the high, stiff sides. He isn't using the foot straps yet, but they are easy to adjust. The pack in general is easy to adjust. The compartments are well designed (with one exception mentioned below). The pack is very sturdy when placed on the ground. It's sturdy in general. The pack is high quality. The sunshade is way too tight to tighten. The clip almost took out my toddler's eye when it slipped out of my hand and hit him extremely hard just under the eye. No idea why they would design it with that much tension. It's a shade... The main compartment is difficult to unzip. The zipper constantly catches on the cover. Extremely annoying.
Comfortable and serves our needs
We have used this pack on a few 2/3 hour hikes now and it has been very comfortable and our daughter loves sitting in it...even when it is at home. I gather there is a new design out there now, but the one thing I wish it had is a slot for a water bag. It works OK to put it in backpack portion as there are plenty of loops to thread the hose, but dedicated slot would be better.
excellent
amazing and very adjustable. My son loves it and hold him easily(30lbs). hesabig kid and it allows me into the outdoors with him
LOVE IT!
We bought this pack almost 2 months ago, and it has already been used for so many hikes and walks, both short and longer. Our 11 month-old has ridden in it without complaint for a whole day (with a few breaks) or hiking. He is so much more comfortable in this pack than mashed up against one of his parents in a soft-sided carrier. Both my husband and me find it comfortable - the fully adjustable torso length is AMAZING and allows us to switch parents quickly even though we have a 7 inch height difference! The hip belt is comfortable and very effectively transfers the load to your hips. The bottom area has plenty of room for diapering supplies, snacks, and a couple of things for mom and dad, plus there's room for a hydration pouch; sometimes we go out for a several-hours hike with this as the only backpack carried for 2 adults plus baby. Also absolutely love the sunshade. There are limits to what you can do wearing this pack (and any similar pack). Carrying a baby on your back is not the same as carrying a well-packed, yet heavier, backpacking pack, for example. It makes you slightly unstable because the weight isn't as close to your body (and babies move, shifting your center of balance), plus you obviously have to be careful of low-hanging branches more than normal. So don't expect to tackle super steep trails or trails that aren't well maintained with your kiddo in here. Overall, could not recommend this backpack more.
