No more bug annoyance.

I backpack and camp a lot. Bugs are almost always my number one complaint, so I got this. I went backpacking this last weekend and used this net, and it made me a much happier person. While all of my friends were complaining about bugs, I was happy and didn't notice the bugs. Of course they still land on your body, but I find that them flying into your face is the worst part. Highly recommend this product.

Only works for ball cap
Dried
Was hoping it would fit a brimmed hat. No chance. With the intended ball cap netting is too close to the face for my comfort. I think the skeeters would sit on the netting and still bite through it. The close profile might come in handy for certain activities but it feels claustrophobic to me.

Excellent product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am amazed how well this works! Function was much more important than fashion.Definitely saves me a lot of pain and misery. This saved me from having to repeatedly put tons of repellent chemicals on my face and neck throughout the day. The netting is a fine mesh, soft, and large enough to fit over a hat as in the picture. It's light weight, easy to see through and covers the neck completely. With the netting I could concentrate on getting the job done. The visibility of the black one is great. It is made really well. THANK YOU for whoever makes this. Very pleased and highly recommend.

Great to have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Invisinet head net has come in handy throughout the summer while working in my garden. It has helped keep any mosquitos, bees, and other insects away from me or getting close enough to me to bite me. This head net can be used for a multitude of things and fits over most hats for gardening, hiking, or fishing. I have also used this for fishing a few times and it worked great especially with all the bees around. Very roomy and the net is breathable and visibility is great, the crown has an elasticized design to fit around head or hats. The netting is 1.0 mm so the protection on this head net is great quality for the value. These are very rolled up really small and comes in a drawstring ultra light portable sack. I keep mine clipped to my fishing gear. Highly Recommended.

The best defense against bugs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received this product to try. I spend a lot of time outdoors. I garden, landscape, bird watch, hang out with my dogs and the bugs in my wooded backyard are terrible. They always go for my face and neck. This netting was PERFECT! It fits nicely over my head but also I can wear it with my hat. It is a sturdy material (not going to easily rip) but yet you can still see clearly - however the bugs cannot get in. If you want to avoid using bug spray on your face and hair, this is the best defense. It comes in a small pouch which makes it easy to carry with you. After I used it, I simply rolled it back up and put it back in the pouch. This product is innovative and so useful!

Works great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every year during the summer the bugs around my home are horrible. Not only are they a nuisance at my home, but also for my husband at work. Working outside all day with biting mosquitoes can be unbearable. So having the best defense against these buggers is a must. Ben’s InvisiNet said it not only keeps out mosquitoes, but also bugs as small as noseeums. According to my husband, it indeed kept out all bugs, even the smallest ones. The netting is well made, and is very easy to see through. Unlike other netting that seems to obstruct my husband’s outside work, he could clearly work with it on all day. Being able to wear this on a hard hat or just on your head, is great. The rim on a hat helps keep the netting a nice distance away from your skin, so larger insects can’t sting or bite you through it. Beside being great for my husband at work, this works great in the garden or doing clean up outside. It’s great being able to weed or tidy up my yard and not have to constantly swat at the bugs around my head or face. The netting does come with a small storage bag. So that after the bugs are no longer a problem, it can be stored away. This is a must for those who live in areas with biting insects, or those camping/hiking in the woods.

Effective

I recently returned from an expedition to James Bay in Ontario, Canada. This net worked well at keeping the swarms of mosquitos from my face and neck. At moments the winged sanguivores huddled on my clothes so thick I could swat them by the hand-full. The fine black mesh is easy to see through; I could even use binoculars with it on. I hardly used the stuff-sack, and instead usually had it stuffed in my pocket, always at the ready. It is very compact and light, almost unnoticeable. However, the blaze orange color was nice when I had to find it quickly when the bugs became maddening. The top elastic band seemed unnecessary, but it didn't change the performance of the net, and it did exactly what it was designed to do, stick around a ball cap.

Watch out, two types of Ben's, not shaped the same

I sawaa the image in both types of Ben's headnet that showed it under the armpits. OOPS, watch out only the Ultra Headnet for $14.50 is that way. Even though both pages showit. If you look at all the images the High-Visability net only has a point down the chest. I already had a Sea to Summit headnet, but I wanted another and if I bend over, no matter how I cinched the Sea to Summit net my braid would move out from under and then the gnats got in. (I work outside, off trail, and in down among the plants. So I will have to return this High-Visibility net and get the UltraNet. Sigh.

Feels like a Cheese Grater

I’m not sure how they could possibly describe this product as “sheer”!?! This netting is stiff and abrasive. It retained its crinkled shape when I pulled it from its stuff sack and did not hang nicely or loosely when placed over my ball cap. I am very disappointed with this product and glad I purchased a Sea to Summit brand at the same time because that one is a much nicer material to have near your face and wears nicely. I am bummed that it will cost me almost the price of this item to return it by mail with a prepaid label. It’s doesn’t even seem worth having around as a “just in case” item. Looking forward to stores reopening so I can return there and not lose money!

Great little product

I bought this for a trip to the Quetico Provincial Park in Canada where there is a large amount of the time you are dealing with insects trying to flying into your face from all angles. This product was comfortable, compact and always stay in place. Worked well just slightly rolled over the ears as well as full coverage tucked into the shirt. Visibility is fairly good with this one but I would be curious to try the high visibility orange version down the line.

A life saver on a buggy hike

As a newbie backpacker, I decided to heed the advice of a veteran backpacking friend and invest in a mosquito head net. Boy am I thankful! I decided to fork over the $12 for this, thinking it would just be an "in case of" type of purchase, and I couldn't be happier I made it. I used it for the first time last week as I hiked the Cascade Pass switchbacks where mayflies, horseflies and mosquitos swarmed me each time I stopped to snack in the dense forest. This handy net kept them from getting a little too close while I enjoyed a quick munch. It fits conveniently around a baseball cap or safari hat, stretching downward for any of you wearing a v-neck or scoop-neck hiking top, with a cinch cord that allows you to get base tight. Packs super small and ultra light weight. I'm a fan! Just remember, while it keeps the pests from landing on you, it's likely they'll still get close enough to audibly buzz near your ears. Not much you can do about that, but I'm still super happy I bought this. 10/10.
