Excellent Modular Crampon
First, I'm a Black Diamond fan and most of my climbing gear is Black Diamond. I think Petzl nailed the design on these, and Black Diamond missed an opportunity in their Crampons. I wanted to find Crampons for mixed climbing and backcountry skiing hikes. I have Asolo mountaineering boots and Lange XC 120 ski boots and wanted Crampons for both. The Petzl Lynx fit both perfectly, and perform very well. My Asolo boots have been up and down Mt. Rainier several times, and once with the Lynx, and they are great on ice and rock. The toe bail works as is on both hiking boots and ski boots (I included a pic). The Black Diamond crampon options included having to purchase separate wide toe bails for ski boots, and good luck finding stock on those. I'm not normally a review writer, but figured that someone might benefit from my search for a truly versatile single crampon system. Petzl did everything right with these, and my search is over.
The most versatile crampon I've used
I've been using this crampon for 2 years now and love them! After 20 years of ice and mountaineering, I feel like I've finally found my 'do it all' pair of spikes. The option for both mono and dual points is such a great feature. They've held up wonderfully after climbing recreationally and guiding with them almost exclusively for 2 hard seasons.
Still one of the best crampons available
No review, just buy. But seriously, fantastic crampon with full/semi capability so you can change up depending on boots.
Fantastically designed crampon!!
These crampons will always work. The modular capabilities they have are superb. I've done glacier travel and mixed climbing with them. They stay sharp for long periods of time. An amazing piece of gear for your do it all weekend warrior.

Peztl Crampons
I’m here just to give five stars, to this product I have used in my last three summits, I ready loved it is easy enough to putting and easy to walk in the snow better then ones I have before.
Excellent Crampons
Don't waste money on products that will make your journey less enjoyable. These crampons are incredible and fit perfectly locking on my Lowa Alpine Expert GTX Mountaineering Boots. Even on very steep grades, I have never lost my footing with these crampons and they provide a solid platform to reach your summit.
Don't think twice
I LOVE these crampons. Modular so I can switch between dual for ice and mono for mixed. Good bite, very comfortable, best I've tried.
