Great tool

I was looking for my first pair of ice axes to climb the waterfall ice in the Canadian Rockies and decided to go with the Raptors. They're excellent for the high angle/ vertical ice around here. Some friends with 15+ years of ice climbing experience tried them out and were impressed, too. They have a nice swing to them and stick pretty well. The price is also a major perk. I highly recommend these!

Trango Raptors: Excellence right out of the box!

Incredible value, good design and no knuckle bashing. Ready to use out of the box! The only thing I missed was a hammer for clearing rotten ice with. Well balanced and lots of grip options.

Great tool at a bargin price

These are excellent tools. Given their low price they are an amazing bargain. They should be more popular.
