Information for developers and brokers
REI is constantly evaluating prospective new physical retail locations in like-minded communities and outdoor recreation destinations. If you would like to suggest a particular site for consideration, please note the following priorities and contact the broker assigned to the territory. REI does not accept solicitations directly.
- Ample parking
- Prominent building visibility and signage opportunities
- Convenient multimodal access (car, bicycle, transit, pedestrian)
- Complementary to the REI Co-op Brand
- Natural light (windows and skylights)
- Built (or upgraded) in accordance with REI’s environmental and energy efficiency standards
- Loading dock preferred
