I was excited to receive these, looking forward to the comfy Keen wide toe box I am familiar with. But, these shoes are not designed that way. The toe box is narrow and tight; not at all like the previous Keens I have. The cut of the arch is also oddly placed (imho) as the arch is on the outside edge, rather than under the natural foot arch. They are certainly made well and appear to be quality material. However, they are a departure from the original keen design, and would likely be better for narrow feet.
Do not buy these shoes. I had a pair of these and wore them less than 10 times when the upper loop for the shoelaces became detached and was lost; did Keen glue this loop in place!? This loop certainly wasn't attached securely to the body of the shoe. IMHO, Keen's quality both in their sandals and their shoes has gone down dramatically over the past few years; not sure if this is because they changed production manufacturers.
