I’m really enjoying this flannel. When I first put it on it was a little too big and bulky. But being 100% cotton and after washing and drying it, it fits perfectly now. I’m usually in between a small and medium size and got this as a medium. I was glad that it shrunk just enough to fit well and still roomy enough that I can wear an undershirt or base layer and still feel comfortable in it. It’s a very heavy weight cotton and is nice and warm. The material is soft and got even softer after washing it. If there’s any fault with it, it’s that the buttons are a little small for how thick the material is and can be a bit of a challenge to button up at first. It does start to get easier the more you wear it though. I wear it lounging around the house and also in my basement workshop doing woodworking. It’s an unheated basement and can get chilly in the winter but this flannel has kept me warm enough. Overall, I’m very happy with it.
This is a very heavy flannel. This is closer to a shacket than a shirt. I do enjoy the shirt but I feel it falls just short. I understand the 100% organic cotton but I just wish there was maybe (I know) lime 1% spandex or nylon just to let it move a bit more. After washing it really wants to curl on the edges, think sleeves and collar. The last thing I want to ever do to flannel is iron it but when the edges of the color curl up. That was the bad. The good is this is a burly layer that is tough and will last a long time. It feels like an old timers jacket but not quite as boxy as they used to make them. This one lives at the back door and is my go to for choring in the back yard or running out the trash. I do enjoy it. Would I buy it again yes probably. Will I watch to see if they make any changes. For sure. I also know this piece will soften with time and I may be back to update this to a full 5 stars. This is a g
As described this is definitely a heavy flannel, meant for some chilly days not just an autumn breeze. Fabric is thick enough to wear out in light rain without noticeably getting wet, perfect for cold rainy days. Size is appropriate, fit is a bit boxy but looks good. Cotton so can't recommend for any serious adventures but perfect for about town or after cold activities. Highly reccomend.
This is a warm and heavy flannel shirt! Very cozy. I am a thin and tall guy and this shirt fits large on me. So consider ordering a size smaller than you think you need if you are a tall and lanky person, hence the 4 out of 5 stars. That said, I do like this shirt and the various color choices fit any style.
This is really nice for cold mornings and I'm sure as thick and heavy as it is, it will last a long time. It takes a while to dry because it is so thick.
Thick soft cotton can be warm as a jacket
