I bought the zero and at first it wasn’t going to fit but the tie on the inside waist made it much better. I am pretty small (5’4” height, 26.5” waist, 36.5” hips) but they fit great when the ties are used. Not too long in length either but I wouldn’t want them any longer than they are- with hiking boots they’d be perfect. I wore them walking a lot in town while it was raining and they kept me totally dry- through light rain. Just beads off.
5’8” 135lb with muscular legs and bought size 4. Mostly hiked in them, wore them for casual day to day and for my work as a personal trainer. They are so comfy and stylish. I love these pants. The drawstring that serves as a kind of belt replacement is great too.
The mid rise on these hit me just right. They seem to be sized the same and fit similar to the Kayla jeans. The fabric is really comfy and seems durable with some nice stretch. They did stretch out a bit over the course of a few days of regular wear, but I used the drawstring built into the inside of the waistband so no sagging. I really liked the cut of the legs and they were the perfect length for me. I'm not sure I'll wear them on summer hikes but that's what shorts are for. I'm 5'8", 125lbs, Size 6 Senior body
I bought these because I wanted a mid-rise version of the Halle pant that I love so much, and they did not disappoint! They fit me just as well as the Halle, have a new button that hopefully won't pop off, and now have snaps built into the pant legs themselves for rolling up the bottoms (rather than on strips of fabric that you loop up). They also have a slightly different zip pocket. Yes, the "regular" length of these pants is long- I'm 5' 5.5", and they brush the ground if I don't have shoes on (much like the Halles). However, I actually prefer this because they perfectly double as gaiters when I have my hiking boots on. Time will tell if they can take as hard of a beating as my Halles, but bushwhacking through some very thorny plants only left minor snags the other day, so I'm hopeful.
This is a welcome improvement from the Halle pant II, mainly in the buttons. I love all of the Halle pants, but the buttons either come off (earlier versions) or come undone (latest version). This has one button that seems to hold. The latest Halle version also had an awkward fit for me with lots of extra room in the pelvic area. This one is just perfect, and I remembered to order the short seam so I don't have to roll up the leg bottoms. It is all I've been wearing lately!
[Employee of prana] These pants fit well and are very flattering. They are similar to the Halle Pant, with a few improvements. For one thing, the front pockets appear to be a bit larger, and easier to access. They are front slash pockets instead of the smaller curved front pockets on the Halle II pant. In general, I love these pants as well as the Halle Pant (I and II). If you like the Halle Pant, you will love these pants.
Ordered regular length and they are 2 inches too long (I am 5’7”). Also expected boot cut, but they are more straight. I was hoping for pants similar to Halle pant but with a button that doesn’t have to be sewn back on repeatedly like with the Halle pant. The button on Zion is great, but since pants are too long will probably not wear them. I already washed hoping they’d shrink some but did not.
We finally have a metal button that won’t fall off!!!! I can’t tell you how many top buttons I’ve sewn back on to the Halle pants over the past years due to design changes. Thank you Prana for bringing this feature back. Love the cut, rise, fabric, and color of the pants. Time will tell on fabric durability, but I’m loving it so far. Would love to see even more shades of brown for this line.
Long time Halle wearer (10+ years) for work: hiking, wading, wet wading, etc... The Stretch Zion is a great update for those of us Halle lovers, but wanting a higher rise and deeper pockets. I did have to size up from my Halle size, typically a 6 tall in Halle but had to go with an 8 tall in the Zion. 5'11" and 160 lbs. Great length and rise. Thanks for the update!
The tall inseam on these pants is 36 in. I ordered one color and loved them so much I just ordered 3 additional colors. May end up getting them all. They fit like the old Prana Helena Pant in tall. They have a slightly higher waist than the Halle Pant and more of a straighter fit. Love them! Thanks Prana for bringing another Pant in 36 inch inseam ♡
