Great enrichment
While it doesn’t last my large dog a super long time, she does love it every time it comes out. It’s a great tool for her enrichment and easy to use and stick to the floor.
Not what she needs
Overall, my girl uses the lick mat, but it is having the opposite effect on her that I need it to have. it is supposed to help her self sooth, but she just gets more and more worked up as she loudly tries to clean the whole lick mat. and she ends up panting heavily from using it. so it isn't worth continuing because I need more things in her life that calms her down not amps her up.
Lick mat review
My dog absolutely loved this lick mat! I used some of his wet food on it and he was licking it for almost 40 minutes. Typically things like this go quickly for him, but the ridges on this lick mat made it nice and hard to get out of the corners! I’m so glad I found something that can keep him occupied more long term
Awesome design
The Woof FlipMat is a nice option for giving dogs spreadable treats. Keeps my pups busy for a while. Having two different sides is a useful touch, and the suction cups help keep it in place. It’s also dishwasher safe, which makes cleanup easier.
Basset Hound Boo Basket Win!
We ordered the flip mat as a boo basket surprise for our Basset Hound and it has been a huge hit! She loves the treat and we love that it keeps her busy for 20ish minutes.
The ridges are pretty shallow, so our pup doesn’t have to work too hard to lick off all of the product. I like the size, though.
