Columbia  Peakfreak Rush OutDry Hiking Shoes - Women's

The sole is great, grips very well. The shoe is lacking arch support and the tongue is to bulky.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned Peakfreak Rush after getting frustrated with the brand I usually bought not being available one season. In the store , you can see the outdry material is similar to my usual gortex premium trail shoe brand.Peakfreak Rush is waterproof, I intentionally test in mud and water.Slight lug difference, Columbia 's not as aggressive. Stability, these have it, with slight slippage where my usual trail runners wouldn't. I replaced the laces with compression ones that adds to the functionality.

I love these shoes. I have different versions so I jumped at these new colors. They can withstand a long day of 20,000 steps. I will say these are a little larger and I had to downsize. I have over 15 pairs of Columbia shoes - all size 8 women. I wear an 8 in Asics, 8 in AllBirds, and 7.5 in Sorel. This is the first pair of Columbia shoes that I have in 7.5.

These are terrific -- very comfortable and very waterproof Since it was pouring rain and I hadn't had any exercise all day I took them out immediately as soon as they arrived and walked 4 miles to test them. My jeans are drenched, LOL, but my feet are completely dry despite all of the puddles and rain. And they are super comfortable. 10/10, would buy again.

I recently bought these shoes for an upcoming trip this fall to Ireland/Scotland and have been wearing them to "break them in" - Really not necessary! They are so comfy, provide decent arch support and have a wide enough toe box for plenty of comfort. I'm also going to Alaska this summer and plan to take them with me for that trip as well.

This is a great shoe, so light and yet sturdy. Unfortunately it is hitting my right large toe in such a way that it causes discomfort in an area that has seen problems before. I wore it in my home for an hour to see how it felt and had to remove it. Sad because I like the shoe and wanted to take it on a trip soon.

I purchased these and went right to the trails in the Rocky Mountains and instant perfection in comfort. Can not say enough about the comfort. Also feet stayed dried when walking across a shallow stream. I wear an 8.5 wide and the fit for me was true to size. Thank you for making wides!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased these to have a rainproof shoe on my trip to Norway where frequent showers can come without warning in the summer. I am grateful they are comfortable in every way. If I had to give them a con, it would be that they are a little heavier than the average tennis shoe to walk in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been really pleased with my previous Columbia tennis shoe purchases. Unfortunately, the kind I liked are discontinued so I tried the Women's Peakfreak Rush OutDry shoe. I've only had them for about 3 months when a hole appeared in the upper.

Awesome, but I couldn't wear it it hurt both my feet. I have problems with my feet and thought it was the right one. 🙁
