Arc'teryx  Therme Down Jacket - Men's

Great jacket, very warm with good insulation and a perfect fit. Even with just a shirt underneath, you won’t feel cold. The pocket design is perfect, and the Gore-Tex material keeps you dry even in the rain.

Really nice jacket. Looks good whether paired with casual or professional wear. It's been very windy in NYC as of late and wind does not penetrate this jacket. Even with just a long sleeve t-shirt underneath, I am comfortable in 15+ degree weather. I'm 5'10 and 160 lbs (on the leaner side) and I bought a small. Enough room in the body area to layer if needed. I guess the only thing that bugs me is the neck area; it's a bit too high and when zipped up fully presses against my bottom lip. Otherwise, stylish enough jacket to give 5/5. BTW there's drawstrings at the bottom if you want to tighten the waist area. The model didn't in the pics so it looks goofy there.

This is my first Arcteryx piece for the winter. I’m coming from a Descente Mountaineer Mizusawa down jacket. The feel is stiffer than my Descente waterproof jacket bc of the gortex but the waterproofing is much better. It fits perfectly on my body in a M. I am 5’11” and 160lbs for reference. The high collar as well as the adjustable hem and hood is very ergonomical. I was worried that it was going to be too thin for a winter jacket in the northeast of America but the combo of gortex and down is sufficient for temperatures below freezing (wore at 27 F so far). I like how it is a sleeker look compared to a big puffy down coat. I definitely recommend the Therme Hoodie as an investment winter coat.

This thing is a tank but the hood is terrible. I lot of the hood have been terrible lately. Go back to 3 point adjustment. Extremely heavy Gore-Tex reminds me of the old Gore-Tex from 20 years ago. It seems super durable and warm, but I just can’t get past the hood. It has such a weird shape to it and you can’t adjust it very well. I would’ve given him this jacket at five stars if the hood werent such an after though design wise.

The lack of snap closures on the lower part of the storm flap turn the is other wise perfect jacket into a flawed, could have been. There is a reason why every other jacket in the world has them, including Arc’teryx’s fissile jackets. Nobody is going to say “I’m so glad there are no snap fasteners on my jacket” when it’s raining or windy. Terrible design choice.

I didn't think I would love this jacket as much as I do. The outer fabric is so unique and textured in a way that makes it not look 'technical' but actually very refined. It feels like downright armor - it's very heavy and thick, warm feeling. Pockets in all of the right places. A classy, very luxurious feeling jacket that I can't wait to wear again!

I love everything about this jacket. Fit, breathability, warmth, weight, storm hood, design…it’s amazing. Returned the Macai to purchase this as a winter jacket. I own many Arc’teryx pieces but this one may be my favorite. Makes going out in winter weather enjoyable.

Horrible fit, so much extra space around the belly area, it’s like Arc just wants to accommodateextremely overweight people with this jacket. Ordered my usual size in Arc gear, this just doesn’t fit like any other size L item I own.

Bought the parka for my son in New England Mistaken ordered the jacket first so ended up having both As far as I hear from him, they are both warm , comfortable and fit well He likes both of them

Sleek and cozy. Just what I was looking for in a winter coat. Runs large so trying on in-store recommend. I usually wear a medium in Arc'teryx but had to size down to small.
