Comfortable, versatile and water-resistant

I’ve been wearing the Nia Pant for everyday activities, walks, and weekend adventures, and it has quickly become one of my favourite pairs of pants. The fabric is lightweight, comfortable, and moves really well with the body. I love the relaxed fit, which is exactly the style I’ve been gravitating toward lately. The built-in belt is a great detail and adds a nice touch to the overall look. I ordered a size 7, but I probably could have gone one size smaller for a more fitted silhouette. Even so, the comfort and flexibility make these pants incredibly easy to wear all day. One of my favourite features is the water resistance. I recently wore them on a day at the lake while boating, and even with water splashing on them throughout the day, the fabric repelled the water surprisingly well. Overall, these pants are comfortable, breathable, versatile, and perform just as well outdoors as they do for everyday wear.

Amazing Wide Leg Pants

Amazing “wide fit” pants from Arcteryx. Definitely a perfect blend of form and function. They say “barrel fit” but they don’t taper at the ankle which is great. It has a wide fit through the whole leg. I’m a guy who loves Arcteryx pieces and the men’s doesn’t offer any wide leg options, so these fit perfect. I did have to size up one b/c these do seem to have a shorter crotch, so I would recommend trying these on before buying. I also love how these have all 4 pockets and the integrated belt. These pants are great and can be used for a variety of fits, dress up or down.

The perfect pants for indoors and outdoors

I am in love with these pants, and I am committed to wearing them forever. The Nia pants are definitely more short-girl friendly, as I am 5 feet tall. I don't have to roll up the legs like I do for the Clarkia pants. The feel of the pants is a bit more robust and feels like a more outdoor-friendly version of the Clarkias. Warm enough to block out some wind but still breathable enough that you won't sweat and you don't feel bad wearing it indoors. I'm wearing these pants all the time and the quality is still almost as if I just got them.

Amazing fit

My new favorite pants from Arc'teryx (and I have tried many). They are on the shorter side, so I got it in regular length, even though I usually buy the short version. They fit like a dream, and are super comfy and flattering. I can wear them both for sports and for casual wear, bc they look so good. They are roomy, but not baggy, which I like. I hope Arcteryx will make a lightweight version of these at some point, because I think it will be a tad too warm for summer. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that I am sorely missing a pocket with a zipper for keeping my phone easily accessible while climbing multipitch. Other than that these pants are literally perfect. Please, Arcteryx - make a lightweight version and add a thigh pocket with a zipper.

hiking pants, though?

I love the cut of these pants! They are so cool! I love the pockets and the waistband. I am not sure about their performance qualities — I've used these to commute to work on my bicycle in slightly inclement weather and they seem as if they'll perform okay. And definitely, they're nice enough for that sort of all-round outdoorsy use. But they are SO loud. I wish they weren't so loud. Like distracting conversations loud. Also, I super dislike the feel of the fabric on my legs, that scratchy polyester feeling.

Nice material

The material feels wonderful next to the skin and may be efficient in cool weather. Unfortunately, as with other pants, the short inseam tends to be long. The barrel style calls for a shorter leg, especially as the hip area is not as generous as the Kragg pants. Although the colour is Canvas, it always varies depending on the material and this one tends to have a green tinge. I had to return but would have kept it if the leg length and colour hue were different. It could do with a secure zippered pocket.

Versatile, Stylish Day Hiking Pant

These are the most expensive hiking pant I have ever bought and worth it. I now wear knee braces for hiking - wanted to find a wider leg so I can wear the braces underneath. The cut is very stylish, it has nice drape. The fabric holds up to abrasion, water beads off, is soft on the inside. Plus, they look great to wear everyday - so comfortable. I'm 5'4" - the length is just right. I hope there is a blue in the future., and a zippered pocket.

Great fit and love the waistband!

These are SO comfortable and versatile. I wear them on hikes and they are tidy-looking enough to wear with most casual daily outfits. They have a mid waist on me and fall just above the ankle (I am 5’4”) so I can wear boots and shoes without any bunching or needing to fold the hem. I also love the adjustable waist because a woman’s waistline fluctuates a bit both throughout the day and during the month!

Love it, good style, good wind protection

Love those pants! The fit is great, leaves plenty of room to layer under it, and looks good for street style too. I found the wind blocking pretty well. I'm 5'9", 140 pounds, and found the 6T long enough for me; it doesn't look cropped, and it arrives right over my shoes.

So comfortable!

The Nia Pants are my new favourites from Arc'teryx. They are vewry comfortable, look great, and versatile as well. So far I have worn them hiking, on long travel days, to work, and dog walks. I'll definitely be picking these up in more colours!
