Game Changer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great! The new design with rigidity makes a huge difference in functionality. Being able to hold the cup & bowl without it collapsing is a game changer. Would highly recommend to anyone needing something durable & functional without taking up too much space. As an added touch, the ventilated case has a spot for your utensils.
Perfect for camping and travel
I have lived the X series for years and have taken it with me around the world. The newest iteration is lighter and sturdier, which means you get more out of your total packing weight along with peace of mind. The cutting board bottom to the plate is one of my favorite features and makes it so easy to prepare good, fresh food whether it's canoeing in the Everglades or at a ski hostel in Colorado.
Nice plate set
My wife and I like the set. It’s easy to clean and pops open easily. It feels solid and good in your hands. A little flex with heavier food so if that is the trade off for the weight, I am ok…
Great dish kit
I took this kit on a trip backpacking in the Great Smoky Mountains. This kit comes in a great zip sleeve. All three dishes are sturdy when fully opened. The bowel and plate are able to handle large portions for hungry hikers and campers. They clean up easy. I was able to use the plate as a back county cutting board. The cup could use improvement. It gets hot. It needs better insulation, a handle or a cozy. The measuring cup marks could use more marks on the cup measurements.
Great size, packs up flat
Recently returned from at 5 night trip in the Boundry Waters. Afterwards decided to upgrade my mess kit. My previous Sea to Summit was just a bowl and cup. I really like the larger bowl and plate this provides and how they all nest together for packing.
Firmer than before
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have some of the previous generation peices and these are defintely firmer in the best way possible. They hold their shape well when precariously balancing on your lap like i usually am while out and about.
