Sea to Summit  XLite Collapsible 1 L Pot Cookset

It stores compactly and pairs with a lightweight stove so it has minimal impact on pack weight. The pot lid design and secure handle connection facilitates easy pours and the spork is perfectly sized also.

Seatosummit blew my expectations with the new XLite Collapsible 1L Pot Cook Set. The kitchen set provided all the mission essentials in high quality with collapsible capabilities. A must for the field enthusiasts, I highly recommend it!

There are a few good pieces here, and I'm interested to test them out. For now, bringing the cup on a PCT section hike but will definitely be using the pot in the future. I want to be able to enjoy my coffee and still pack my cook kit, and with the cup (a little small maybe, would prefer pint size) I can do that and just stash it in the bottom pocket. The pot has nice components and a smart design. Wider and shallower than a Toaks, and only 2 oz heavier than my 650. I expect that's the nice locking handle (no need for the orange bag). Seems like a great pot if you're actually cooking the food vs just boiling water. While collapsed you have to pack the stove and fuel separately. When expanded those can fit, but only without the cup and spoon inside. This doesn't bother me as I wouldn't nest those in my current pot either. If your stove is bigger than a BRS you might be able to nest that in the pot still (advantage over toaks), but it could still be tight with the fuel. I think the spork would be a little short for dehydrated meals, but adequate for eating out of the pot or a bowl. It might be good for a cold soaker with a small peanut butter jar. I'll likely mix and match the pieces with my other StoS items & cook kit depending on the type of food I bring.

Really happy with this setup, and the versatility of it. At first, I was a little disappointed I couldn't nest my entire cook system into the pot. On multi-night trips I've been storing my cook kit in with my food, but on 1-night trips I bring a smaller food pouch and have to store the cook kit separately. My old pot didn't fit very well in the pack side pockets and never quite fit well inside the pack on its own (always an awkward extra bulge). By not nesting the fuel can, I was able to stash this cook kit in my side pocket which worked really well for my lighter / smaller pack setup. Fuel can first, then BRS stove, cup, & Swedish cloth all fit inside the collapsed pot. Handle never gets hot, silicone lid grabber is great, pour spout works but you need to take the lid off to pour all the water into a bowl, ect. Seems to heat water just as fast and only weighs about 2 oz more than my old titanium pot (just the pot, cup and spork add). I'm still not sold on the short spork. It's nice that it nests, but I usually use an old dehydrated pouch for my bowl and think I prefer the long handle StoS spork with that depth. On a water plentiful trip (more water for washing dishes), I'll cook directly out of the pot and give the short spork a shot. Find it well designed, functional, and working better and better with my lightest packs as I use it more and dial in how I pack my bag. When it arrived, I honestly thought it might end up as my car camping kit but am instead starting to view it as my go to setup.
