Comfortable, but not durable
I like the look and they’re comfortable, but after an 8 mile hike, they showed wear after the time. Washing them didn’t help. I purchased more than one pair, so I will have to try out another pair to see if the original ones were Defective
Threading coming undone after 1 jog
Bought these to jog in, after just a 4 mile jog the threading is loose. Not to mention the sizing listed way off…the small made my toe bleed due to smushing my toes together. I weigh 115 and wear size 8 running shoes. Fairly narrow feet. Honestly wouldn’t mind the loose threading etc if these were $5 for a pair, not $17.
Smaller than expected
Good quality. However, runs small in size. Order 1 size up
Amazing socks for running
I used to have a lot of issues running moderate distances with chafing on certain parts of my foot. I'm not the type of person to spend real money on socks, but when I mentioned this to the customer service guy at REI, he recommended these socks and they are an amazing investment! Not cheap, but literally the comfiest socks I have ever worn even while running. Will buy more pairs.
Comfortable but poorly constructed
Reviews looked great and understand why because they are comfortable, but after wearing them just 2 times for exercise the bottom silver threads are fraying. Won't last and problem returning them because stores are closed.
Falling apart after a few uses
The first time I wore these (straight out the packaging as advertised) I thought I had found the perfect sock. However after a few washes these are already falling apart. It's crazy because the packaging says you can tumble dry low but their website says hang dry. I decided to try one of each because I had no idea how to proceed and they both are falling apart after those few uses. I'm very disappointed because the price is way too high for this low of quality sock.
Poor quality
Wore these socks one time for a 3 mile hike. After the first wash they came out looking like this. Pretty trash for a $13 pair of socks.
Make working and walking easy
My job consists of standing and walking for 8 or more hrs a day. I was always in pain with my foot until I decided to try balega socks. I am so happy with the result. I would recommend everyone to try them. I wear these socks everyday
The only socks you’ll need
I have been wearing Balega socks for years and they wear very well and are very comfortable. I have gifted them to family and friends who complain about their socks. Good socks are equally as important as the right shoes and fit for all activities. You will not regret your purchase— they last for years and launder well.
Runs too small for comfort
The socks are thick and cushy, as previous ones I have bought. But the size is much smaller than the comparable "M" I bought before. The fabric is stretchy, and pulls so that it kind of makes my toes curl in on themselves, which is not comfortable. I washed them, and it didn't seem to make a difference either way--neither more nor less stretchy. I guess I'll stick to the old model, since I can't wear therse.
