Light weight & easy to use!

I bought the poles in May. First time user with collapsible poles. Took a few times of practice to get it down but very easy to learn and pickup. They worked great for hiking/trail running. The gloves are not 100% my favorite and felt they contribute to burning extra energy. It might just take a few more times wearing the gloves to get used to them.

Better then expected

Currently have about 8 days on these, good mix of scree to long backpacking (not exactly the intended use) and some trail runs. I personally have never used the leki running pole system but to me these have been super easy to clip in and out of without a thought or issue. I like the glove system and have had no problems on hot or cold days. Super light and will continue to use them

Instructions are insufficient and misleading

These poles are superb in performance, but the accompanying instructions for locking the sections are insufficient and misleading. Only by accident did I discover how to lock the three sections in place for running. If you pull the top section up and away from the lower, a lock pin is exposed. Nowhere in the instructions is this mentioned, and the illustrations on the instruction card are again insufficient.

Trail slayers

Super lightweight and easy to assemble/deconstruct while moving forward on the trail. I also purchased the quiver for storing while cruising easier sections of trail. I hope I can get replacement hand straps when I have worn out the ones that came with the poles.

Bent a pole on second use

Not very robust, my pole bent on second use! Clearly have some manufacturing defects so be careful.

Good value for money.

I wanted to try carbon fiber trekking poles as I have used aluminum Blk Diamond and Leki poles for years. I frankly bought the Salomon poles due to their relatively low price and the fact I have been satisfied with their running shoes and equipment. The poles are lightweight and appear to be quite sturdily built. The tension release button appears more robust than the ones on the Black Diamond poles in particular. I bought the Salomon CF poles to help in trail ultras and am very satisfied.

Great for ultramarathons!

Picked up a pair from in Runners Soul in Kennewick, Wa and couldn’t be happier with their design and durability. The hand sleeve makes gripping the poles on steep ascents and descents a breeze! They stow away nice in the Solomon quiver perfectly. Also very affordable compared to other brands! For reference, I’m 5’10 and purchased the 120’s.

Light, fast and easy to use!

Love these poles! The hand wrap connects right into the hand position so it is fast and easy to disconnect the wrap from the poles. You don’t realize how heavy other poles are until you try these! Great for hiking, running and anywhere in between. Highly recommend these!

Very light carbon poles

It is as you'd expect from top tier carbon poles. They weigh nothing, easy to use, to fold/unfold etc. Better price than competitors. So far so good. It's early days but they feel stronger than what I expected from light carbon poles.

Best trekking poles ever

These poles have got me through some of the toughest climbs in my trail running life. The straps are great and the collapsing design is flawless. Highly recommend for anyone looking for high end poles!
