Features

  • 70-denier dual-sided TPU-coated seat is durable, highly packable, and much less susceptible to over inflation in the heat or direct sun
  • TIZIP® stern closure creates fully waterproof, easy-to-access storage and decreases deflation time
  • Self-bailing floor continually releases water, increasing maneuverability in splashier waters
  • Overlapping, RF-welded seams are further sealed with interior taping to create an incredibly strong mechanical bond for fail-proof air retention
  • Highly durable PVC-free nylon has an internal and external TPU coating, increasing air retention in case of abrasion
  • TPU-coated nylon is easily repairable, extending product life
  • Vertex Three Point Thigh Straps and Backband provide customizable comfort and control in a lightweight, minimalist design
  • Custom aluminum hardware and anti-spin aluminum D-rings provide secure attachment points for thigh straps and on-water essentials
  • Leafield D7M valves reduce packed size and weight, provide reliable, hassle-free inflation, and are easy to maintain
  • Tubes feature 2 internal, welded self-fabric lash tabs for securing gear and maintaining optimal balance on multiday trips
  • 1 in. nylon webbing loops in the bow and stern permit the addition of a safety line (not included) and provide additional attachment points for personal gear
  • Includes packraft, seat, backband, thigh straps, inflation bag, inflation blow tube and repair kit
  • For optimum performance—especially with heavier loads or bigger whitewater—use a pump (not included) to bring your NRS packraft up to pressure
  • 3-year retail warranty from NRS; 1-year warranty on TIZIP® closure
  • Note: Long exposure to sun and high temperatures can increase air pressure, leading to overinflation; overinflation can damage seams or worse
  • NRS suggests bleeding off air pressure or fully deflating the packraft and seat in these conditions

Light, sturdy, lots of bells & whistles for price!

This is my first packraft and it's such a great value for the price! I use this on my local river which is a mix of class 1&2 rapids and flatter, calm sections and it handles great. I love the thigh straps, whitewater backband, and tizip. All are very high quality. Just a tip: you need to purchase a small hand pump to get it to optimal inflation, especially in cold waters. I purchased the Alpacka Pack-a-Pump and the adapter from Sockdolager Equipment and I highly recommend this. I purchased the Pulsar over the Neutron because the Pulsar is lighter, more maneuverable (since it has slightly smaller side tubes), and packs down smaller. I am able to fit this in my 50L backpack. With this, I can paddle the river and ride my bike back to my car. It's working great for this set up! I use a 197cm Aqua Bond Shred Hybrid 4- piece paddle.
