Smartwool  Hike Targeted Cushion Crew Socks - Women's

Love Smartwool socks and that they are made mostly of wool. The issue with this pair is that the photos depicting 'purple eclipse' are inaccurate and make the entire sock appear lighter and softer in color than they are. The photos make the socks appear mostly as a heathered white with bubblegum pink stripes and a peach logo and the heal and toes as shades of gray. In reality, the main part of the sock is a blend of gray, blue, pink and purple heathering. The stripes are more of a hot pink, the logo is a much brighter orange and the heal and toe are black. I would not have purchased these had I known the true colors. Would still recommend them if you don't mind that they are not white at all. In my photo, if you look at the orange and pink as it shows at the bottoms of the socks, that is most accurate.

I love lots of things about Smartwool socks. One thing I'd like to comment on is that when it's winter, and I wear them outside running. When my feet get wet, my feet don't feel wet and they keep my feet warm!

The cushion felt fine in my boot during a long hike. I was sorry to see that a rash developed on my leg at the top of the crew sock. Perhaps I should use a mid-crew length hiking sock to prevent the rash.

I reach for these everyday! Have 2 pairs in rotation, planning to buy more. Perfect to wear under uniform, with U** boots or sneakers. Smartwool fan for life as long as nothing changes!

I'm just trying to shop on your website and this this pop-up keeps getting in the way every 5 seconds. It's really annoying and it's not helpful. Stop the pop-ups!!!

Fit like a glove with extra support. Keeps your feet cool, protected and odor free. The tops are 1 inch taller my other socks. Next time I get the mid crew version.

My feet are always cold & in middle age, hurt more than they used but Smartwool socks provide the warmth & support I need to get through New England winters!

wear them daily in the fall and winter. Love how they feel, and love how they last. I have had some pairs over 5 years and they wash beautifully.
