Toe box is terribly designed. Hard material doesnt cover the toes, so your wigglys pop up where its soft and rub on the hard toe material edge, and thats just walking across the floor, nevermind running. Avoid
Just received them. They’re super comfortable out of the box. Balanced, supportive, quality materials. Nice tread. Basic but very nice.
In my opinion, this shoe is designed too large. I purchased a size 12, and my right kept sliding forward off the tip of the platform. I couldn't tie the laces any tighter. Before I had New Balance size 12 trail running shoes that fit just fine. For some reason, the sizing of the Merrell shoe is larger than typical.
