I have had my pack for over a month and have used it on a couple of day hikes and plane rides for weekend excursions. The 28L holds more than expected and handled about 20 lbs well. It is definitely good for moving light and fast. It has some great, lightweight features and includes a pack cover which is pretty cool. I do have a couple of potential concerns. I have done an AT thru hike. Some of the places on the pack where clips attach are almost dainty. The biggest issue is the attachment point and clip on the top compartment/brain. I would not trust this pack for more than a week on trail as the these weak areas look read to become a problem after only a little wear and tear on the pack. They sacrificed a little too much to keep the weight down.
Recently used this pack on a late spring backcountry ski day trip and it performed flawlessly. Love how lightweight and minimal it is without missing key technical and comfort features. I really appreciated the daisy chain lash points to strap my skis securely to the pack during my ascent (something not all multi use packs have these days). Perfect pack for long day trips or 1-2 night trips.
Major upgrade over my 32L Ditch Rider. This 28L pack fits everything the 32L pack fit and more with all the new functional features. The running harness is amazing too, distributes the weight much better than the Ditch Rider does. The pockets on the front of harness straps are hugely appreciated. About time it came with included rainfly too.
I use this for day hikes and short overnights. Its extremely light weight, yet seems like it will have decent durability. The only complaint is that the straps are basically shoe laces, so I would predict them to be the first to fail. Overall, good product
This pack is great for day hikes. Lightweight and plenty of outside storage if you need to carry a few more layers in the spring and fall. The straps and chest system are very comfortable too.
