I got these when they first came out, so have had them awhile. The frames are still intact and working. They are still my go to sunglasses after trying other Smith options. Large frames cover a lot of my face which is perfect for what I use them for. They keep light out of my eyes and help cover any gaps other smaller glasses create between my climbing, skiing, or bike helmets. Scratch easily but have been able to get replacements through their warranty program. Be prepared to pay up to $15 for the shipping. They now have lots of replacement lens options you can buy on Smith's website which is a plus for different conditions. They are spendy like the glasses but this seems to be with most of Smith's products. The arms' ends rub and have created scratches on the inside of the lenses if something is not put in between the arm and lens when they are folded up. These can be difficult to get inside of the cloth case, especially if they have any sweat on them. The nose piece isn't quite the size and shape I'd like. It could be bigger. I don't regularly take the side pieces off because of what I use them for. The changing of the lens works great. I have worn these mountain bike, skiing, and mountaineering in different levels of light. At dusk in trees, I was still able to use them, but changing over to clear or a different lens would have been optimal. (Just noting this even though they're not intended for that dark of light.)
