Not your normal crater lake top. I have the regular crater lake top that is thinner and what I consider a sun related top for the climb up on our local glaciated mountains and snow fields. This heavyweight top is thicker and something I would wear as an insulating layer, or shoulder season top where sun protection really isn’t that important, but just needing a bit of warmth is. I would highly recommend this top for anyone looking for a warmer top than the standard sun protection tops.
Love it. Want to try out the Grid Hoody for comparison. Only straw with it is that it's a little tighter than the normal Crater Lake hoodies. Should have gone with an extra large?
It is sometimes hard to discern on paper how a product might look, or fit or feel. However, everything about this piece of clothing is perfect for me. Size, fabric and usage!
