I bought this bag to be part of a three season kit and so far it has met or exceeded all of my expectations! It can compress down to about the size of a football for easy storage. The 1/3 left zipper comes in handy on warmer nights when you need to vent off some hot air. And it’s great to be able to unzip it all the way around the foot box, essentially turning it into a blanket.
I like a roomy bag that I can wear a down jacket inside when it is really cold. But this one is over the top. Very bulky to put in a stuff sack. And the material seems heavier and bulkier than I am used to in a sleeping bag. I would have to upsize my pack for the trip I am planning. I'll stick with my old bag and return this one. This bag is probably a good choice for car camping.
Recent purchase, Y.P. long, nice light weight bag. Too tight in the shoulders. I am 6'1" 230 lbs, couldn't get the bag zipped passed my shoulders. Foot box good for size 13 feet.
