Marmot  Hype Down Jacket - Women's

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice jacket. This is soft and surprisingly warm for the weight. The arms are the perfect length for my height, which never happens without jackets being too big everywhere else. I’d call this a small tall. For reference, I’m 5’9 1/2, 155lbs and generally wear a size 6/8 in US clothing and a medium in tops, but a small or medium in jackets. This fits just perfectly. I could wear a shirt, flannel or a sweatshirt under it comfortably. My hands fit into the outer pockets well, which as you know with women’s jackets, isn’t always the case. The outer pockets are also zippered. It also has a very large inner pocket for anything you need to stash. The bottom has a cord you can secure if you need a super tight fit to keep warm or to keep snow out. I won’t have that problem with regular wear in Arizona, but maybe if I travel with it. Which it my next bonus; it’s so lightweight! It rolls up and would fit into a backpack, purse or luggage wonderfully! It’s a dream! I actually love that it doesn’t have a hood like most puffer jackets and it’s not super puffy. It still looks stylish and is slightly fitted. It’s definitely going to be my go to jacket this season! Now, for my honest drawbacks. I don’t like the logo on the front. Thankfully it blends pretty well, but I’m not a logo person at all. Secondly, the zipper can get stuck now and again, especially at the bottom as you’re trying to get it off. For the price, that’s surprising. It wouldn’t deter me from purchase and I’m still super happy with the jacket.

It's down, super lightweight, very comfortable, easy to wash, made with 75% recycled materials and so easy to pack. I can carry it in my tote bag and just shove it in there and it comes out wrinkle free. Perfect for everyday and extremely perfect for travel. This is one of the best jackets I have ever owned!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this jacket I initially thought that a small was too big I am 5 feet in about 105 pounds. I typically wear small or extra small in clothing but I come to find out that with a sweater in the winter time the jacket on top of sweaters hoodies act as a perfect size and so I think that it's actually nicer to have a slightly bigger feel to the jacket then something that is snug. It is so warm it feel so light weight and it's really stylish and totally on trend. I love the color. It is like a mix between like a pewter gray and almost a green. It's a really nice color.

It was a big thing for me, but im a new, firm believer in buying fewer quantities and more quality items and this speaks to that in every way. Performance - super light, thin, and warm. Fashion - auper flattering and classy, love my khaki color that goes with absolutely everything. I would recommend this to anyone amd everyone and already have a few times! Ive gotten so many compliments, and my mom has tried to steal it. Perhaps a great gift idea! Looking online now for colors and sizes for another...for her of course!

The ExpeDRY 800 RDS Goose Down is soft and comfortable. The zippered hand pockets keep things secure. The elastic bound cuffs keep you warm . The adjustable draw cord hem is convenient for easy adjustment. Pertex Quantum is tightly woven from incredibly fine yarns, giving a light and sift fabric that allows insulation to fully loft. It’s wind proof to retain warmth, soft to increase increase comfort. It’s light weight and packable. It has a water repellent finish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought black size Medium. I’m 5’8”, 150. The fit and length are great for me, even the arm length. It is not a tapered at waist or tight jacket. I like it because I play outdoor paddle tennis in the winter and this allows free movement of my arms, even with two layers underneath. I actually start to heat up and can remove this piece after a set. It’s so light, I just ball it up and stuff it in my backpack! Super warm and lightweight! I recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this jacket because it's big and warm, but still not bulky. It's super packable for traveling/hiking, but incredibly warm. I'm typically an XS/Small and got a small, and there's plenty of space to layer underneath. If you're looking for a more fitted look without wearing bulk clothing underneath, you could probably get away with sizing down. This is my FAVORITE jacket for everyday winter wear and also traveling, highly recommmend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love how thin this jacket can become, making it absolutely perfect to take on a trip. My only complaint is that the sleeves run a bit long. I wish I had gone a size smaller for this reason, though the rest of the jacket fits me perfect and is true to size. The sleeves do have elastic at the end, which is helpful. Hopefully this will keep them from getting filthy like often happens with this type of jacket.
