[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's delightfully lightweight, so easy to put on, and flattering (I have wide hips and big behind and it's hard to find a good fit). Windproof (it is *very* windy year round where I live) and perfect for unpredictable spring temps. I wore it for an hour under pouring rain and I didn't even feel the coolness of the raindrops. I know it's not supposed to be a rain jacket, but I'm glad I got to test it out under those conditions. Fits true to size. I love this color way as well (Peach and vetiver).
Fits true to size. It does not make you look fluffy. Color is exactly as pictured. Three pockets, high neck but no hood. I love it really cute I have not gone on my trip yet so I don’t know how it will perform.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lightweight and warm. Great zip pockets. Easy for travel
This jacket is everything I was hoping for! It’s cozy, warm, comfortable and works perfectly on its own or as a layer with thermals and sweaters underneath and a parka on top. (I’m 5’2”, 120 lbs. I ordered size small and wear it under my medium size parkas.) Packable for traveling and hiking, it’s lightweight and not bulky. It’s attractive too and I appreciate that the Marmot logo is subtle. Also love the zippered pockets.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a packable jacket for shoulder season as well as hiking in cold weather, bought this jacket after reading previous reviews which are fairly accurate. It’s light and warm, the fit is very nice, not boxy at all, I’m taking it to the Patagonia hike next fall, as it’s also great for layering without bulk. My only gripe is the color options, I wish there were more choices, thus the 4 star.
The jacket itself seems really nice! But I ordered this one because I needed a jacket I could pack in a stuff sack for travel. It did not come with the stuff sack, and Marmot has not replied to my requests to have them send one to me. If you just need a jacket, it's great. If you are wanting a packable one, you should look elsewhere to a company that sends you all the components of the item you order.
I had this jacket for about five years. For the most part I've been happy with it, but recently the seams started splitting on one of the sleeves and the stuffing started to come out. Given the cost, I thought it would last longer before starting to fall apart.
This jacket is warm yet lightweight. I love the navy color. The large is just long enough for a tall person. However, I don’t like the tab over the top of zipper. It’s sticks out when zippered to the top.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very lightweight, warm but not hot, and very comfortable. I love this jacket. The only thing that would make it better would be a built-in hood (maybe one that zips into the collar).
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fits perfectly with just enough room for a sweater underneath. I can also get a rain shell over it pretty easily, so it's going to work in a variety of settings.
