[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these pants!!!! Perfect for hiking especially in Washington state when it can start cold, warm up, and get cold again. The fit is very comfortable I’m wearing biking shorts under them in the picture. They are super lightweight, durable, breathable, abrasion resistant, stretchy, quick drying, zipper hand pocket for security, legs zip off to 8” short, and adjustable hem. The legs zips off super easy and they are a good length I’m 5’2” to give you an idea of where they hit. I would absolutely take these with me on any hike and especially overnight hikes cause they are so universal. Put long johns under them and stay warm. These are worth every penny.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These marmot pants are nice quality. At first they reminded me somewhat of the swishy pants that were popular in the 90s. Some sound but not as “swishy”. That being said they are a bit snug and no stretch. I am 5’7 and the length was great. They have a durable zipper that can make these pants turn into shorts that are of good length. It has a hidden zipped up pocket near the standard pocket at one side that is mesh lined. On the other side is a smaller pocket along with the standard pocket. They are also rated at a 50 UPF so they should be great in the sun for protection as well! These would be a great pair or hiking pants as long as your not going through thick brush and are sticking to the trails.
I ordered two different colors of size 14. One fit well, the other was probably a mismarked 12. The sizing was not at all the same. The Dark Steel ones were the small ones while the Shetland color fit appropriately. I like that your skin is protected from the zippers and sit in a fabric channel. I think the length of the shorts are reasonable, although I might have made them an inch longer. The fabric is nice for warmer weather (not heavy). I have not washed nor worn them yet. If I am able to update this review after wearing, I will do so.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pants are great and versatile, the fabric is lightweight but durable and feels extremely high quality. I’m 5’10” and the inseam is perfect as it hits the top of my hiking boots, not to mention the drawstring at the ankle makes it versatile when I’m wearing thicker wool socks.
I was so excited to get these on sale. Reading other reviews about the thigh cut, I sized up one size. They are still strangely tight in the thigh area. I think it's probably because of the zipper. Makes me appreciate the REI brand pants. Returning these unfortunately.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love these pants - the color, material, and overall look was great. I could not wait to wear them on a hike. But, the sizing seemed a little off. Although the fit was fine in the waist and the lower leg/ankle area, the thigh area was extremely tight near the zipper porrion. It made them extremely uncomfortable to wear especially when sitting down. I'm not sure iif I had sized up, if this problem would be corrected or not. Therefore, I take off one star due to the fit.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received a pair of Marmot Women’s Arch Rock Convertible pants from Influenster and tried them on right when they arrived. They are a little bit snug but still on a weight loss journey. Looking to do a lot of hiking this spring and these pants will be very helpful. I love the option to make them tight at the ankle or to remove them at the knee to turn them into shorts. They are very comfortable and made of excellent quality material. I do love that they have sun protection as well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Marmot Arch Rock Convertible UPF 50 Pants for free in exchange for an honest review, and I couldn’t be happier with them! When I got them, I immediately thought they’d be perfect for my mother-in-law, who loves hiking and travels to all sorts of unique destinations. After trying them on, she said they were incredibly comfortable and lightweight. She wore them on a hike, and afterwards, she mentioned that they were some of the most comfortable pants she’s ever worn. The convertible design is a great feature, especially for fluctuating weather during hikes. The UPF 50 rating is a bonus, offering solid sun protection while still being breathable. Overall, we definitely recommend these pants to anyone who enjoys outdoor activities. They’re functional, comfortable, and perfect for any adventure!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pants were made for tough terrain and will be great on my upcoming hiking trip. I appreciate the details such as the small zipper pocket to hold my keys. These pants fit well in the waist, but are a bit more narrow in the leg than I’d prefer. I hope they make them in black soon! For size reference, I am 140lb, 5’3” and wear a size 6.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality of these pants is nice. They’re pretty light so you won’t get too hot on hikes. I like that they unzip to convert into shorts which makes them great for warmer and cooler weather. The issue that I had is if you’re more of an hourglass or pear shape they will not fit super great. They are more slim through the thighs.
