Nalgene  FreshFlow Water Bottle - 24 fl. oz.

This worked well when it was new, with the main complaint being that the plastic mouthpiece has hard edges that are slightly irritating to your lips — not the smooth seamless design of an older bottle I loved. The real trouble is that after only 2-3 months of very light use, the plastic ridge that holds the metal clip in place wore down and stopped holding the clip in place. Meaning the entire water bottle will leak. There's also no rubber gasket -- just hard plastic being placed over hard plastic. So if the clip isn't holding it firmly in place, even if the cover is still 'on' the mouthpiece it will also leak. Not a great design

We have 100 water bottles but this, by far, is the best, especially for kids. It's incredibly easy to clean, which means I feel good about taking it on backpacking trips or sending it with my kiddo for a week of overnight summer camp. We love the versatility- the straw option is great for encouraging all of us to hydrate but having the option to remove the straw/mouthpiece and chug without unscrewing the whole top is fantastic. Would love more colors!

The bottle is poorly designed. When you drink from the spout, the cover /cap hits your forehead. The container is strong and has a sufficient volume.

Nalgene is a great water bottle, size, carrying ability and overall function.

I bought this soft tip bottle and used it with filtered water five times. It started forming what Nalgene determined to be mold on the tip, they recommended that I don’t use the bottle…
