[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming from my previous 3 pairs of FuelCell Rebels, these feel different from the very first run. What surprised me the most was the arch support. You can really feel it, and for me, it’s one of the biggest differences compared to the Rebels I already own. My feet feel much more supported. I also notice more bounce and responsiveness with every stride. That feeling of propulsion is definitely more noticeable. So far, I’ve tested them on easy runs, and I’ve really enjoyed them. They’re comfortable, supportive, and the extra bounce makes them feel lively even at an easy pace. Next up: speed workouts and long runs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved the bounce back it game with each step. Chins/heels felt less sore. Snug/secure fit Didn’t get road debris/dirt stuck onto them easily
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the New Balance FuelCell Rebel v1! I have the New Balance SuperComp Trainers and this is like a more cushioned reincarnation. It’s lightweight, bouncy, and incredibly fun to run in. The cushioning gives it that responsive, energetic feel without making the shoe feel bulky or overly cushioned. It feels fast when you pick up the pace but is still comfortable enough for everyday miles. The fit is comfortable and the shoe feels really natural underfoot. I especially love how light and flexible it is—it almost disappears on your foot once you start running. For tempo runs, shorter races, or days when you just want your legs to feel quick, the Rebel v1 is such a great shoe. One of my favorite New Balance running shoes!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shoe is a fun alternative to traditional carbon plates. The carbon fibers add bounce and help with speed, but the shoe stays a cushy, comfortable ride. Would recommend for long runs, tempo and speed workouts, and daily runs where I want an extra boost.
Excited to add these to my training rotation! Great for speed work, feels very supportive, and they clean up well. I got my normal size 10 and they fit perfectly with plenty of room in the toe box. Others said they run a bit small.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These feel very light weight, bouncy/springy, and rocky. Great for speed work and long runs. The white & gray colors look so good with the design. Would recommend to size up half a size more than usual running shoe size!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really impressed with the New Balance SuperComp Revel! These sneakers are lightweight, comfortable, and have a really nice responsive feel when running. I especially like how they feel during faster runs—they give me that extra push without feeling bulky or heavy. The cushioning is great without being overly soft, and they feel secure on my feet throughout my runs. They’re also comfortable enough that I don’t feel like I’m counting down the minutes until I can take them off . Overall, these have quickly become one of my favorite running shoes. If you’re looking for something lightweight, responsive, and comfortable for training and faster-paced runs, I definitely recommend giving the SuperComp Revel a try!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An overall good shoe with a lot of cushion and good energy return. I find the shoes to be cut more narrow than other New Balance sneakers. I am looking forward to more runs with them.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The SC Rebel is an awesome do-it-all trainer for runners that like a soft, bouncy feel. The forefoot rocker creates smooth transitions and helps you pick up the pace. The new ATPU foam is extremely light and soft and is stabilized by the carbon infused plate. I will mainly be using this shoe for tempo runs and faster paces. The shoe seems more designed for going fast and I felt it was too unstable to run truly easy in. Runners with more neutral mechanics might enjoy it for easy running. The upper is very secure and lightly padded, making it comfortable for longer runs. I choose a half size up from what fits in other brands like asics and brooks because the fit is a little short. I was surprised how incredibly fast and fun the shoe is and I think New Balance is really going in the right direction with this shoe!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved these from the jump. The arch support is noticeable, so that took a moment to adjust to, but right away I felt both the cushion and the energy return in these. I can definitely see them as a daily trainer in the rotation. My only feedback is that the upper is a bit stiff but that may relax with continued wear. After two runs I packed them for travel to a world marathon major (not as a race shoe - a daily).
