No grip on wet surfaces
I normally wear a 7.5 but ordered an 8 because Keen said they run small. Had to send it back to get the 7.5, which fit good. A little loose in the heal though. Wide enough to accommodate my bunions. Took my first 5-mile hike with them and was pleased with the comfort, however, not so pleased with the grip on wet surfaces! No grip on slightly wet paved asphalt trails or wet stone/rocks! I was walking alongside a rocky river surface and could hardly keep myself from slipping and falling. I walk this all the time and my old hiking shoes never gave me this problem. Did fine on wet grass and I did like that my feet stayed dry walking through the wet grass; however, I am seriously considering returning because of having no grip on smoother wet surfaces.
Jasper Zionic Fan
Jasper Zionics fit me well and I have them in multiple colors. I got these in steel gray/black and love them as well. I like the tread on these because they are quieter on all surfaces. They are wide enough in the toe box for my Wilma Flintstone feet. A little looser in the heel compared to my other pairs - still getting used to that. The grayish/brown color is beautiful. I will probably get these in black as well to replace a worn out pair.
A little too big
Really like these especially as an all-purpose shoe, but I will probably be returning/exchanging for a smaller size. I should have listened to the other reviews, they do run large (not just too wide, but my heel was also shifting out). A thicker sock could probably fix this, but I prefer thinner socks!
Perfect shoes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do love these shoes greatly. I am working in a retail store. I am waiting for foot surgery on my heel and ankle, so I need shoes that are super comfortable and wide too because my foot is swollen. These are perfect.
