[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Grea trail running shoe comfortable and nice looking
Fits large. I wear a US11 in the Evo SL and purchased both the 11 and 10.5 in these after hearing about the sizing. Whilst the 11 could still work (and may be more suitable for ultra distances) the 10.5 fits perfectly - similar to the 11 in the Evo SL. Overall the best trail shoe ive tried to date, pairs nicely with the Speed 2 which is amazing for the shorter/faster stuff, whilst the Terrex SL can handle anything comfortably.
The Agravic SL has a nice step in feel. Maybe a hair big on true to size, but works well when I have on thicker socks. Plenty on forefoot room for a 2E width. The rocker helps keep you moving and the shoe is very stable compared to my EVO SL road shoe. The Lightstrike Pro is soft, reactive and composed. The midfoot shank is the only thing I would change. The shank sits almost directly on top of the foot bed and takes a little getting use to the first 10 miles. I remedied that completely by swapping out insoles to one a little thicker. Adidas, put the shank about 4mm deep into the midsole on the next version to maintain stability and add more midfoot comfort. Shoe has an excellent ride for slower hiking miles, on/off road ventures and steady paced running. Continental grip lugs are great also. I would recommend this shoe to anyone interested in light to medium technical trail running.
I was hesitant about it, but once I put them on and hit the trail, i was thankful with my purchase
Runs long I would size down a 1/2 size. Did 10 miles in the AZ Mountains today. Very comfortable foams is responsive the shoe is stable on a variety of terrain. . The grip allows for a lot of confidence and I was able to pick up the pace. This could be my new favorite trail shoe. only complaint is that it’s a little heavy underfoot.
Great training shoes - I take 11 UK in Evo SL and ATR, mainly for toebox room. SL Trail fit longer so picked UK 10.5, but get the same pinky toe rub as in the ATR Size 11. Foam is slightly firmer than Evo SL, and shoe feels slightly more stable in the forefoot and heel I'm a forefoot striker so Evos relatively stable, but these are also fairly stable when heel striking on steeper technical downhills. Outsole is pretty grippy on dry loose stuff and rocks, but slippery in mud Upper seems breathable Would have preferred a slightly more engineered upper, and slightly more anatomically-shaped toebox Vertical heel is good when I lace lock, but there is some lateral heel movement over rough ground Shoes feel pretty fast, and I would race up to HM distance in these over hilly, moderately-technical terrain, but I think they could be a little unstable for fast races over really technical terrain, unless you've got strong ankles and good propeoception Bargain price Would recommend
Ran a 60km trail ultra in these and they dealt with big, rocks, mountains without a problem and then had the pace of race shoes on the flatter fire roads. suitable for serious trail or road to trail. way more stable than the Ultra Speed. These are the perfect trail race shoe
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Takes about 10 miles to start to break in. Pure joy after break in..Goes anywhere and everywhere.
Fun, stable and makes it easy to pick up the pace. Rocker geometry feels spot on. Fun on asphalt to get to trail. 11 miles out of the box with no complaints.
Great shoe. True to size and comfort is great. Continental traction can’t be beat. Will definitely buy again in different colors.
