[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shoe itself is fairly good as a running shoe. Fits snug. Only two criticisms: 1) The laces are a bit annoying, and hard to untie due to their design, and 2) The side stripes came unglued for me within the first couple of months. I only use them on the treadmill as well, and have not even been running outside. Was quite disappointed with this.
Amazing Shoe well done comfortable in all aspects.
Much more stable than the regulars SLs. Still great in running and very breathable
Everything about the shoe was promising until I put it on. Once I started walking the tongue was saggy and rubbing at the bottom near the beginning of the laces. I felt like a thick rubber piece just rubbing against my toes and made this squelching sound. I believe this is most likely a flaw in the design and the choices of materials and their thickness at such a particular area of the shoe. It’s sad because these were going to be great but i can’t imagine getting over the feeling sound and the problems that would come with rubbing/blistering. Change the thick material on the tongue and you might have a good shoe.
I have owned multiple pairs of EVO SL's and these are surprisingly the best version. The upper is a little stiffer than the originals to make them water resistant but it locks down better than the original. The increased traction is easily felt underfoot and I think the thicker continental rubber adds a bit more stiffness to the foam, making it very fun at faster paces. I was able to set my HM PR wearing these at sub 7 pace and they did great. Only warning I would give is to not wear them on rough trails. On a long run in Shenendoah the midsole foam cracked on some rocks and the upper also took a beating.
I purchased these shoes on the back of some excellent reviews on various YouTube running channels. First impressions - these shoes did not disappoint. Comfortable, lightweight and they looked great. However, after several runs (less than 10), one of the Adidas stripes peeled away while I was out running - presumably the glue to seal the stripe to the upper was insufficient so the stripe was left flapping about as a ran. Similar albeit smaller issues on other parts of the shoe. After spending 140 pounds I expected much better quality. On the whole I was left disappointed.
Great running shoes. Well cushioned and actually water repellent. I'm not a fan of the look of the lace though (too feminine for me), but they hold on tight.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fits true to size. the comfort level is off the chain
I wasn’t sure if I would like them because I heard they were stiffer than the SL’s but I was impressed! They are very comfortable and the waterproofing is actually really good (I’ve ran through 5 inches of snow and feet stayed dry). My only minor issues with the shoes: they are a little heavy (to be expected for what they added vs SL) and the lugs are pretty small. Even though they are small compared to other winter shoes, they still make the traction far superior to the SL’s during winter runs but don’t expect to go on snowy /icy trails in these and not risk slipping a little. I used them to run on paved snowy/icy paths and they got the job done. Overall, really great addition for my winter runs especially at this price point!
Where are the light shoes? Very comfortable recommended to everybody
