Arc'teryx  Leutia Pants - Women's

Because I want to go to heaven: 5'6'F 155lbs, 39" chest, 32" waist and 40.5" hips (ultimately ordered 8T in sea salt colourway) I originally bought these pants in size 12R since that's the size the chart said I landed in. When they got here they were enormous and I easily had an extra 6" of fabric at the waist. The length was good, but it was sort of hard to tell since I had to use the belt to get an idea. I returned them for the 8R. When those got here, they gave me a good 1" of give at the waist which was perfect, I use the belt for the rest or just wear them low. HOWEVER, the 8R length was "just right" bordering on too short if I didn't want them to be high on the ankle when cinched (which I didn't) so I ended up exchanging for an 8T, which are a bit long for me but I'd rather have them feel a bit long than a bit short. They're a beautiful pant but are a little loud and swishy, but super cute and a great look. Hopefully sea salt doesn't look too chopped after some time on the trail. Not sure how these will fare since they're so light but they are lovely. May the odds be ever in your favour!

Absolutely loved it. Fits on my body, size R0, 5.1 in, 95lbs, pockets are very convenient because I put my phone, Golden Gate Clipper Card, gym membership card, little snack; my first used I took a long walk from the Golden Gate Toll Plaza, San Francisco, all the way to my doctors appt, 5 1/2 mi. SF Perry Bldg, The LP was very comfortable, long walk did not feel sweaty on my waistline, The material is SF weather friendly and very stylish but I am always looking for well made and comfort and I am very picky when it comes to buying my clothing. Btw, I got Carob color. I also got Clarkia in black, love it too.

I brought this size 6 regular despite being a size 6 short because I really like the color. Short cutting always ran out fast, perhaps you can have more stocks prep up in future. Surprising I can tighten the length to fit my height. Pls have more lighter shades pants, I’ve plenty of blacks already. Happy I made the choice to get it.

I was a little skeptical about buying these trousers at first since they’re quite expensive, but they turned out to be the best purchase I made for my Everest Base Camp trek! I ended up wearing them most days - they were so comfortable and stretchy, perfect for walking long distances and tackling difficult terrain. Throughout the trek, I experienced all kinds of weather - rain, snow, sun, and wind. During a day of mild, constant rain on the walk to Namche Bazaar, the trousers held off the rain impressively well for hours, even though they aren’t waterproof. They also dried quickly afterwards, even in the cold lodges we stayed in. Even my so-called waterproof had leaked and did not dry the next day at all! As we climbed higher and the weather got colder with snow, I just wore a pair of leggings or thermals underneath for extra warmth - though I often warmed up naturally while walking. They performed really well in cold and mildly windy conditions; I couldn’t feel the wind cutting through at all. On the warmer days descending, I was equally impressed. Even after long hours in the sun, my trousers stayed dry despite some body sweat, and they didn’t develop any smell even after multiple days of use. I honestly can’t recommend these trousers enough - they performed brilliantly for a multi-day trek, and as a bonus, the design is flattering and stylish too.

I have been haunting the Arc'teryx website hoping the Clarkia Wide Leg Pant would come back in the non cotton version so I could grab a second pair, and although that is not meant to be, these pants are a welcome alternative! I love the wide leg fit that is both great for all-climate hikes and for walking around Brooklyn. The Carob color is a perfect compliment to my other neutral toned outdoor clothing, but again blends well in an urban environment. If I can't have my Clarkia pants back, I'm more than happy with these!!!

I love the fit and style of the Leutia pant. It's so comfy and cute. However, the white material is more transparent than I hoped, especially in the rear area. The pockets have 3 layers, so they are fine, but the middle and sides are not as opaque. The contrast looks odd & especially with darker skin or darker underwear. Not a necessarily a good look if there are people behind you. I'm on the fence about returning them or just pairing them with longer tops and/or light colored underlayers.

[Employee of arcteryx] I went to the store to try these pants on (along with the Nia Pant) and preferred these ones and have found them to be a very versatile pant. They are a bit swishy but not as much as other Arc pants (ie. the Khara). I have worn them to the office and also on day hikes, they would be a great pant to bring traveling! I bought them in size 10 short and they fit perfectly (I typically wear a size 10 in Arc'teryx women's pants). For context, a 10 in the Nia Pant was too small.

insane pair of pants...I've never had a pair of pants fit me so perfectly, they stretch everywhere and they hold up pretty well in water (walking though a hurricane; was impressed) I wear an xl for bottoms, more on the curvy side ands these pants still fit baggy and perfect, the back side of the waist band doesn't move when I sit or ride my bike. they work for humid/hot temps. just overall a great pair of outdoor pants

Arc women's design team comes through with a W for the fellas. I usually wear 32x32 pants and an 8-T fits me perfect. They're like my Clarkia's (same material) but with better pockets, buttons, and belt. Best summer hiking pants, that also make for some sick fits around town. Carob is a lovely brown. I will be rotating these with my Clarkia's for the rest of the summer. Lovely pants. Thank you.
