Mountain Hardwear  StretchDown Light Pants - Women's

Just got these in the mail and first impression is that they’re incredibly comfortable. Lightweight, flattering, and they fit more like a well-cut pair of everyday pants than typical outdoor gear, which I love. I ordered an 8 Tall, and while the fit is great overall, they’re a bit snug in the calves (my calves have always been on the larger side, so something to note). Picked these up for backpacking in the PNW, but I can already tell they’ll get plenty of use for other outdoor adventures to! So far I have gardened in them with bike shorts underneath and no complaints.

after a -22 degree day bike riding I came home with purple legs and a need for warmer leg wear. These pants are really great, I've worn them a dozen times since then, most often on my snow bike trips. the pant length is tapered and elastic at the ankles so no chance of getting caught in the bike gears. The weight is perfect for activity. They'd be too hot for just casual wear for me, but ideal for cold weather activity. They fit well under my snow pants for an added layer if I need some extra wind/snow protection. I really recommend them for someone looking to add that extra layer to the cold days.

Amazing pants! I use them for walking the dog, heading to and from the gym, and outdoor activities. They fit really nicely—not too bulky, but still go over leggings and pants. And most importantly, they keep me warm!

Very well made. Bought them one size larger so I can just pull them over whatever I am wearing. Love the fabric which is not shiny. perfect for evenings around camp andcold mornings before I get going.

These pants are not only the most comfortable down pants I've ever had, they are also the most functional with three pockets. I get compliments on them every time I wear them!

Received quickly and on time for a trip East where the temps were in the teens. With leggings was warm and comfortable. Went with a large. Would buy again in a Med.
