Thule  Cappy Dog Harness - L

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Thule Cappy "crash-tested" dog harness is very well made, druable, & securdurable, safely during travel. My Macy girl doesn't care for the traditional harnesses, she fights wearing them sometimes so this Thule harness seemed to work better for her. Once I adjusted it to Macy's size/comfort, I won't need to make adjustments each time we travel with her. And I love that his Thule harness has a dual functionality: I can use it as a walking harness for her, and ofcourse to harness her in our vehicle for when we travel. So that's really convenient. I also like the material used for this harness, the padded mesh is very "breathe-able" & helps to make Macy comfortably supported especially for long car rides. She's a medium to large size dog, and the size "L" fit her nicely. She seemed comfortable wearing it. I like that the harness works to minimize Macy's forward movement in the vehicle should I have to slam on breaks quickly. She's less likely to lunge forward into the back of the seat if a sudden stop is warranted. I feel really good about my Macy girl wearing this Thule brand harness while in our vehicle; I feel safer knowing she's protected when we're traveling. We definitely will be making more car rides together as a family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very durable and seems to be high quality harness. Unfortunately for my pup (65lb greyhound), the fit is not great for a barrel chest as large as his, and the material is rough on his very thin skin. For dogs with thicker fur and less sensitive or exposed skin, I expect this would not be an issue. I also had a bit of difficulty getting it on him compared to other harnesses, but I think that is a byproduct of the durable construction. This is definitely a more secure and quality harness than any others I’d used. Wish it was a better fit or had some felt padding for my sensitive guy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say, this harness is sturdy, Darcy was not happy with being held in place. But it does what it promises. As you can see from the photo Darcy Girl was not happy, but I am knowing it will keep her safe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave 3 stars but am considering 4. The harness is quality material but with that being said it is so stiff! It works well, fits my dogs well, but he just doesn’t look as comfortable as he does in his old one which moves with him. Can’t say it’s not durable though!

Like all Thule product, this is really well made. The only thing is that I have a big dog. And trying to put the seatbelt in the harness is a struggle. So I still need an extension to tie him securely. But at least now, I know that the harness is safe.
