Coast  QB2R Mini Voice Control Rechargeable Area Light

My first thought about the voice activation light control is who the heck wants that?? Well it came in handy when it fell behind my bed and I couldn’t find it, coast on and found it. Also works well when trying to use hands free working under the car. Lights compact and extremely bright especially on the turbo mode, one concern tho is it does put out a lot of heat when on that mode but that’s probably to be expected with the light being that bright. It has a usb-c charger that charges pretty fast and has a 4 led light on the back to indicate battery level, it runs for a long time on a single charge, I used it out on my front porch to see what I was doing and used the magnetic base and stuck it to my metal roof and surprisingly it stuck pretty well to roofing material that I didn’t even know was magnetic, I had it lit up with the red light overnight because I forgot it, and the light was still going the next morning. I really love this light and I recommend getting a few of them if you’re like me and love the quality products that coast continues to surprise me and my family with over and over again. Thank you coast for continuing to impress us with more great lasting products and improving our overall quality of life and hurricane preparedness, readiness emergency response equipment we need everyday. I really cannot wait to see what you guys come up with next. You truely are the best!

I originally got this light as a field tester. When it first arrived and I saw all the features, the one that stood out to me was the hands free function. I thought it was kind of gimmicky and might not work that great. Turns out I was wrong because the hands free feature is incredibly helpful and it just works. I also like that it's completely self contained and doesn't need an app or Bluetooth to use it. Being able to stick this light almost anywhere and not need to touch it again until you're done is a huge convenience. Overall, this light works perfectly as a small work light. I'd say it's on par with certain tool brand work lights that go for double the price. I also like being able to switch the light color between cool, warm, and white. It's a nice touch that makes the light even more versatile. If I was to change anything, I'd put bigger or stronger magnets on it. They work fine, but if you use magnetic mounting as much as I do, stronger magnets would make it even better.

Several weeks ago, I got this light. It fit the bill for the use I had in mind, being a COAST light I knew it would work, but it had this extra feature I wasn't looking for... 'voice activation'. Since when does ANY light need that??? It turns out...When your in ACADIA and you leave your "COAST RED" on in camp in the poring rain, and you're already inside your tent- "COAST OFF"- Game Changing! Under the car; multiple trips, "COAST ON", "COST OFF", "COST ON", etc. I look forward to the next voice activated luminary that I didn't know I needed. Thanks for the ingenuity COAST!

I got this utility work light a little over a week ago, and I've already used it quite a bit. The voice control features. The different light settings, and length of runtime are what set this light apart from others. Owning a landscaping company and putting in long hours day and night, you need reliable equipment and Coast products in general are dependable, reliable, and good value priced. Ive been using their products for almost 40 years and my dad and pawpaw before me used their products as well. Theyre still around for a reason, they make products that last and you know you're not throwing money away for nothing. Highly recommend this utility light, well worth it. Definitely buying a couple more of these.

I received this item to out it to the test and Coast never fails to impress me! This small but extremely versatile work light has everything I needed. The magnetic base it awesome and is very strong, and having the ability to position the light to aim it where it's needed it great! The voice control is a neat feature for use of all of its features when you have your hands all dirty from whatever you may be doing. This light can handle 6' drops without a scratch, it's dust, and water resistant. It's the best bang for your buck if you need a good work light

I received this light after submitting a warranty claim on my coast dome led work light that they no longer make. And let me tell you it sucks. The magnets are super weak the battery life is like 2-3hr max the stand rotates on the light and it’s not even fixed to it it just falls off and there goes the light. The voice control doesn’t work that well either.I do not like it at all and wish they hadn’t discontinued my light I loved that thing strong magnets good battery life and super durable

Well I was choose to be a person that test out your guy's products and just got sent out today and I put it through the ringer already today I use it on my vehicle to work on I use it in my RV I love the light and I also love the voice command that is awesome especially when your hands are full and it's magnetic I love it all great job with the light if I like five or six of these little light should be amazing thank you so much for sending it out I can't wait for the next product

I got the QB2R a few weeks ago. I charged it up and decided that it would work well in the gun safe. Gives a lot of light and I installed some thin steel plates to the inside felt so that I could stick it where I need it. Nice feature with the voice control, but...it times out and shuts off after a few minutes. So, I have to turn it on manually when I get into the safe then I can magnetically set it and aim it where I need light, then it will listen to my voice commands and I can change the color or brightness. Not all that useful since it times out but if you need to control the light, including turning it off, from your voice, it works well. Nice spread on the light beam. Bright enough for working on stuff. Magnets work OK, could be a little stonger. Overall a tough little light and it is compact enough to keep in the truck or stick it up on a shelf in the garage, etc. It has its uses and I highly recommend it as a small compact work light.

Received this portable utility light and it has incredible features all packed into one light! Enjoy the voice command feature so I do not have to use my hands. Love the 3 ways to mount depending on your need and setting! The quality seems to be durable. I plan to use it for night fishing and working in tight dark areas.

To be totally honest when I heard about voice control I thought it was a gimmick. Turned out not to be. It is quite convenient once you get used to using it. The light is also very bright and also light weight. All in all a very nice and functional light. My only complaint is that I wish the magnets were stronger.
