I love this bag!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I go on biking and camping trips. I have 3 of the migrate duffel bags in Sahara.I love them. But, I wanted easier access for my smaller items. So I got the 40L cargo. I liked it so much I bought the 60L . The side pockets and divider are great. On a recent camping trip I used the 40L for my food and utensils. It worked great and my tiny cabin didnt have tote bags all over it. I also have several Packing cubes and the XL protect it gear cube. My gear is safe and organized! And the Sunset cargo bags look great with the Sahara ones. These bags are great whether I'm in a primitive cabin or a nice hotel. People stop me and ask about them.

Good rugged travel bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second generation of this bag that I have owned, I still use my first gen all the. This redesigned bag improves on my biggest complaints with the first bag, with stronger zippers and a simple organization partition inside. I additionally love the durable out shell fabric. It has taken several over seas trips in the past 2 months and is holding up great. Things to note, its a good medium sized bag, can fit as a carry on if not completely stuffed and is comfortable on the back. With that said if you are an over-packer or carry really heavy gear I would recommend a normal backpack or wheeled bag as this one does not have a waist strap. #sweepstakes

The bag is well constructed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bag is well constructed with robust zippers and sturdy material. My one issue is with the pack straps/carrying handle. The strap stow in a sleeve style compartment on the front of the pack. To do this the top of the straps are sewn to the inside of the sleeve which means you cannot zip the sleeve closed. If you were also using the sleeve for storage and I don’t know why you wouldn’t then there is a risk of gear falling out if you set the bag down or getting wet if you are carrying the bag backpack style when raining. My recommendation is to install D-rings at the top that the upper part of the strap can connect to. Other than that I’m pretty happy with it.

Really Good Bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 7 of these bags for my family to take on a sailing trip in French Polynesia. Color coded them for each couple. We carried them on all our flights with no problem and then took them in the catamaran. They have been great -good construction, kept everything dry and The backpack straps worked well. Great bag.

handled itself well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this on an international trip as luggage since I was recommended not to bring hardcase. It held a weeks worths of clothes with room for souvenirs on the way back. It got scuffed, very scuffed, by the end of it solely due to the Airports handling, but it had only cosmetic damage. I like how it can pack into itself for storage, the blue is nice. Also I highly recommend using packing cubes for a duffle. I didn't use it as a backpack since I was already wearing a backpack and when walking with it it was good enough, only problems are those when carrying a bulky thing near your legs

Coolest duffle ever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is seriously the coolest duffle bag I've ever owned. It seems they have thought of everything. I found Eagle Creek by accident looking for duffle bags and I wasn't sure if I wanted to pay that much for a bag but I got it anyway and I'm so glad I did. Totally worth the money. I appreciate the small details like when you wear it as a backpack and take it off the duffle bag is already right side up so you can open it with ease. It's easy to fold back into a pouch unlike most things that come compact and then when you try to do it yourself it never fits the same. I got the 60L and let me tell you it holds A LOT of stuff. Love the bear design. Just love everything about this bag. Can't recommend it enough.

Broke Second Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just checked into a hotel, this is my second trip with this bag, and the strap broke as I was walking into my room. It tore at the stitching near the shoulder. Otherwise the quality has been ok. The inner mesh never stays in place though.

Such attention to details!

Nice bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased two of these bags for my husband and me to use on a trip to Tanzania. They are unfortunately packed and sitting in the living room because we had to cancel our trip. Our planned trip had three flights on bush planes that have strict weight and size limits on luggage. I packed 14 days of clothes into them and they came in under 10 kg. Best part: the little “fence” across the middle of the bag that keeps the sides from spreading. I wish I knew how they held up to travel, but every thing else seems good quality.

OK but needs a few changes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The duffel is well constructed and I really like the pockets on either end for shoes/wet gear. I also like that the backpack straps can be tucked away. What I don’t like is there is no chest or waist strap on the backpack to help offload the backpack straps. I know this isn’t a backpack but some small straps would make a difference. When the duffel is full it’s uncomfortable to carry with the backpack straps alone. It also doesn’t have a top handle to carry the bag (as in a traditional duffel).
