Compact grey water solution, durable

Bought this in 2012 for a Yellowstone camping trip; campground required grey water be dumped in a specific sink. Last few years have used it with a tiny trailer to capture grey water drained from kitchen sink. Perfect size for capturing a day or two’s water (2 person family) and carrying to proper dumping place (weight of 10l is light enough to not break your back). Note that when empty, it doesn’t stand on its own, but once some water is in it, it will stand. And yes, it does fold down into its pocket again, without too much trouble.

handier than I thought

I just returned from a 16 day fly-fishing/raft trip from a back country river in Alaska. Weight of both gear and food for both commercial airlines and bush plane was a primary concern. The Sea and Summit gear that I chose to take fit in nicely with my weigh-in and needs for the trip. Folding bucket - The folding 10 liter bucket was handier than I thought. We used it for various camp chores and to haul water from the river to put out our fire every morning. Great to have and doesn't weigh but a couple of ounces.

Packed easily and was very handy

I primarily used this for dishes. I think that the 10L was a bit too small; I think the next size up would have been easier to manage for the dishes. If we had >1 of these we would have used one as a general wash bucket for the jeep, clothes, fire bucket, etc. We didn't want to use it for that many uses so as to keep it clean for the dishes. I liked the handle on the bucket for easy pouring. It dried fast and was easy to fold and put back in the carrying case, which we strapped to a Molle strap via a carabiner.

Perfect Little Bucket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this bucket for a Desolation Canyon raft trip, and I was expecting wicked hot temps and silty water. Both were true! This bucket was great to clip by the captain's seat to wash sand and dirt off the boat or have my passenger fill it up and dunk me with it to cool off. Sometimes it was hard to find though, because my friends kept stealing it! Thanks, Sea to Summit :)

Great idea, if it worked - very disappointing

Bought these for guiding season last year for washing/rinsing dishes and transporting water for cooking. used these on one trip, never again. They were tipping over and dumping the water while sitting on a flat concrete surface! Even when full the water didn't give the buckets stability. Get the kitchen sink instead, a far superior product offered.

Love this bucket!

I own 5 fabric buckets and sinks but this one is a keeper. Very well built. Although it is self standing, it is much more reliable to hang the filled bucket with the handle do avoid loosing water. There is an extra loop on the bucket to help with pouring. This is always with me when I am backbacking.

Works well. Best used by hanging from a limb or rock.

My collapsible water bucket from you that I also took along for the first time is a pretty good product. I've used two of these buckets recently. Both did not stand up very well on their own. Both the bags needed to be supported by the strap, i.e hung on a limb, rock, etc

Lightweight lives up to the expectations

Great bucket, lightweight small to pack and when filled with water min to 30% of total capacity for 10 liter it can stand on its own. It’s not sturdy enough to keep a bottle chilled leaning against the wall but things like cans that can stand on its own works perfectly

Light weight and super durable water bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this critical piece of equipment. I go ultralight so if something isn’t worth the weight I don’t bring it but we wouldn’t leave home without this little baby. It is light, super durable, and saves so much time and energy going back and forth for water.

Needed something to haul water from source to campsite

Bucket is nice but wont hold 10 liters but fairly close. Its lightweight so no need to worry about that . Its small so doesn't take up too much room. After a few uses getting it back into the "case" it comes with is fairly rough.
