Big, improved hardware, kind of floppy
Yes , I recommend this product
I have had plenty of Ortliebs over the years, but these are the biggest. The new fabric is thin and flexible, unfortunately this also makes them sort of shapeless, they aren't good at standing up (unless they're packed pretty full). I was skeptical about the net pocket on the front, but it's growing on me, I can cram all my raingear in there and still have room to haul laptops, books and groceries, no prob. The new attachment system is pretty slick, should fit on almost any rack I would think. Overall, nice, if a little fiddly (so many straps!) and a little floppy (get used to laying them down instead of standing them up).
