Half Dome approved

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great shoes. I put them to the test on the Half Dome hike in Yosemite, and they performed exceptionally well. The tread provided excellent grip on a variety of terrain, and the cushioning made a noticeable difference in comfort, especially during the long descent. Overall, they’re comfortable, supportive, and reliable for challenging hikes. I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a solid hiking shoe. My shoes did already get damaged which is slightly upsetting though

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] bought a couple weeks ago, previously owned Columbia hiking shoes and needed an upgrade and safe to say didn’t disappoint. Good traction especially with more loose scree and with scrambling. Have used hiking in the pouring rain and feet stayed dry!

GREAT tread

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super comfy, and the tread STICKS, Usually slippery on my backyard wooden deck when it rains, but these bad boys don’t budge.

Great All-Around Hiking Shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that this is a great all-around hiking shoe. I often hike in places with decently steep inclines and lots of mud. In mud and slippery areas, the shoe does pretty decent. The 4mm lugs help a lot, though they don't perform as well as my other trail runners. They don't have a complex lug pattern, so I do end up getting some slip in mudded slopes. The waterproofing is nice though, I'm not a big fan of waterproofing but for my all around shoe, it's welcomed for shorter waterfall hikes/muddy days when I don't really want to get my feet wet on a shorter hike. In terms of feel, it's a comfortable shoe, but I haven't put a ton of miles into them. They aren't the most comfortable out of all my trail runners but it definitely isn't uncomfortable. Though in terms of general hiking, I think that it was great on the hikes I've gone on. I personally don't think that it's a technical shoe or scrambling shoe, but it's a great all rounder and better then entry level hiking shoes/trail runners.

Size down

I wanted to like this shoe but it's not to be the case. Runs very large. I normally wear an 11 consistently and comfortably but these are HUGE. I could easily size down to a 10 or 9.5. Looks is a matter of opinion but these shoes aren't attractive.

Awesome Shoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lightweight, waterproof, and true to size. The wide fit is comfortable right out of the box — great for all-day wear on trails or wet terrain. Solid grip and breathable despite the OutDry membrane. Highly recommend.

Cool Shoes

Love the style and color of these shoes but they just did not fit my skinny foot. They were a bit too wide and long. Good quality materials and construction. Had to return them, but REI makes that easy.

Needs better glue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the fit and feel of these shoes, but some of the rubber siding is starting to delaminate from the shoe. Shouldn’t be happening after 2 weeks of wear
