At first unboxing I thought they looked huge/super cushiony, I did a side by side to my normal running shoe same size. When you put them on you sink into the sole, the 4mm heel to toe drop sits the foot perfectly for minimalist style shoes with the surprisingly lightweight foam. I really liked the touch of the ankle cuff, giving a snug fit at ankle and laces but keeping bugs and dirt out. Canāt go wrong with the vibram grip, no rolling or uneven planting of the foot on weird terrains! Size wise, go with your normal running shoe size! Donāt worry about the look of the shoe size, it fits just as youād expect.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I really enjoy this ACG trail running shoe. The moment I put the shoe on, I was amazed with how comfortable they were. The materials used in the shoe are well thought out the outsole is great for all conditions. The height of the shoe comes right above the ankle and gives a slight compression feel around the ankle, which is great for stability. The soul provides great traction and the rigid bottoms help with running on all different surfaces. The overall design is basic but in a good way, she provides all the comfort that youāll need and the classic black-and-white color scheme make it easy to put on with any outfit.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are amazing on slippery trails in the NC mountains (weāve had a lot of rain lately). I was able to fully submerge them in a creek with my dog and they dried quickly and remained comfy for the duration of the hike. I usually wear socks with shoes but surprisingly these almost seem better without socks. The built in sock thing keeps dirt and gravel from getting lodged in the shoes when walking through water. The tread on these shoes is very thick and grippy. I would definitely recommend these shoes for trail activities. I might would size down a half size for a snug fit.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ACG Zegama shoes do exactly what they say. Comfortable and stable for trail running. The wide toe box is excellent for maintaining stability on rough terrain. The mesh upper breathes really well. I havenāt tried it out in wet conditions/creeks but it feels like it would dry quickly. The ZoomX foam is my absolute favorite across Nike shoe lines. The ankle cuff prevents pebbles and dirt from causing irritation which is a great detail. The fit is true to size and their stylish/rugged appearance is a plus.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These might be one of the best shoes Nike has made!!! The build of these shoes is awesome- they have great ankle support and heel support. The extra foam padding support used makes it feel like youāre gliding while running, itās gives you an extra boost when running so my feet feel like feathers. They have great tracks under the shoes to really grip onto whatever surface youāre running on- it does makes a grippy sound when youāre on concrete but nothing that bothers me. They are pretty light weight considering how much support they give, Nike really outdid themselves with these trail sneakers. Theyāre my new go to hiking and running shoes, love them!! True to size!
I bought these because I was a big fan of the Pegasus and Wild Horse trail shoes, but these are not good. Thereās a lump right near the ball of each of my feet and they make my toes go numb. Maybe my feet are just weird, but Iāve never had a problem with Nike shoes before.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are great! The outsole is very grippy which makes it so sturdy on any type of terrain. I first tried them on in my house and Iāve never had shoes that grip so much to the floor⦠there was no chance in sliding with them on! The shoes have a lot of cushion which also helped on impact when running outside. This has never happened to me before but Iāve worn these shoes a good amount since getting them a couple weeks ago and I realized a few days ago that I have a small blister in between my big toe and second toe. I have pretty narrow feet but Iām wondering if the shoes are a bit too snug for my toes to expand while running. Something to be conscious of when trying them out yourself. Overall, I really like these shoes! Theyāre the perfect outdoor shoe that you can hike in, run, or do everyday walks in. Theyāre trendy and I personally like the black color because it looks fresher longer with it not showing dirt stains as easily!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every time I have worn this shoe, I get compliments! Not only is it comfortable to wear, but it looks good too. I personally love how much it hugs around my ankle with the stretchy sock detail. The laces have texture and grip so the ties donāt come undone! I havenāt had the chance to run in them yet, per recovering from surgery, but these shoes are ready for running when I am!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pretty solid shoe! I normally size up 1/2 a size (im an 8.5 but usually get a 9) when it comes to running shoes but I feel as if you can stick to your normal size. Theres a lot ankle support which is really nice when youāre running on some uneven surfaces (on trails). The opening isnāt restrictive either.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike ACG Zegama were an exciting pair of sneakers to test. I am longtime fan of the ACG collection, mainly for it's forward and functional design. These trail sneakers embody both of those fully. I wore these on the trail routes near my home and they full adapted to the uneven and sometimes slippery terrain. I've worn them on dry runs and just after rainfall, and the footprint/sole of this sneaker felt like it grasped the earth well in both circumstances. The elastic ankle detail hugged my foot just enough for added stabilization. I could really feel the vibram sole and full cushioning which I prefer when trail running. I appreciated the non slip grip the laces had on the upper, they felt secure the duration of each run. But my main takeaway was the width of the sole at the ball of the foot. It really felt different compared to other sneakers I run on trail with. This felt like when my foot stuck the ground, it was fully connecting, giving me more confidence and security with each step. The shoe was comfortable and responsive all around.
