Durable, strong, comfortable tent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been using this tent for several years now and it's held up wonderfully. It's the right balance of durability, size and weight to work for backpacking. It's been through coastal wind and rain, high mountain UV, pitched on sand, granite and forest floors. Inside it's got some great features to allow campers to store items where we'd like.

Perfect 2 person backpacking/camping tent!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quick and easy set up, kept us cool and comfortable during hot summer camping. Even withstood unexpected rain showers! Super compact and lightweight- would definitely take backpacking

Love this tent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this tent. Have had it for about a year. Super easy and quick to set up, even if it's a bit windy. Have used it mostly in warm weather, and the ventilation is very good, with the amount of mesh, and the 2 doors that allow airflow. I am a little worried about the mesh getting damaged, but so far so good. It's also very light and easy to pack (despite the bent poles). Only minor irritation is the mesh pockets inside. With one side open, most stuff eventually falls out, and you have to go look for it (generally) in the dark...

Did well on backpacking trip. Snug for 3 people.

Our beloved REI quarter dome tent rainfly is seemingly unrepairable, so we were on the hunt for a new tent. It's light, does not take up much room and so easy to set up that my child set it up and took it down. We did not experience any rain on the first use and the temperature was above freezing overnight so I can't comment on those aspects. It is a 3 person tent, but tight with two adults and a child. However, there is plenty of room for two adults and packs in the vestibule. I was disappointed that REI did not sell the footprint for this tent and I had to order directly from Marmot. The doors only unzip halfway, so you do have to be careful when entering and exiting. Like all lightweight tents, the material is thin so expect some babying of the tent. I got this tent on sale and I am happy with the purchase.
