This is going to be perfect!
We loved the idea of a combination fire pit and grill. Anymore, there are so many areas that don't allow wood or even charcoal fires. Many that do allow them don't sell firewood. And many areas don't allow gathering of wood. Thus the benefit of a fire pit. We still have some learning to do with cooking on the grill feature, but it's going to be handy. (I'm tracking the usage to see just how much propane it goes through in typical use, but so far, it seems quite efficient.)
Must Have
Go ahead and do yourself a favor and purchase along with the Firecan. They help provide additional warmth and set the ambiance by providing a more realistic fire appearance. These are very light as well so don't worry about additional weight, I was shocked at how light they really were. Go ahead and add these to your kit. 5-Stars!
Must have! Little pricey but worth it.
I ran my firecan elite a few times before purchasing the moon rocks. They do a good job of radiating heat and also making the flame look more pleasant. Overall I’m happy. They are a little pricey and the shipping cost is high but you’ll forget about that once you use them.
Great little box
It's the size of an ammo box and works like a charm. Everything works as advertised. There is more than enough heat for four people. It light weight, sturdgy and I think will bring enjoyment for years to com
Worth the extra cost
While a lot of things aren't worth the premium, these rocks are clearly better than any lava rocks when considering weight and dust. These seem to double the warmth you feel, while using less gas.

Seemed expensive, but after using I'm happy with the purchase. Lightweight and worked well with our Firecan Deluxe. The combination is a nice gear addition during campfire restrictions.
Great way to maintain heat
After reading reviews and YouTube videos, I knew I wanted these rocks to help dissipate the heat more effectively. Gives it that more realistic feel of a wooden campfire.
Moon rocks a great addition to our Ignik Firecan Deluxe. We used 1 bag and it greatly improved heat distribution from the Firecan. Left enough room for hose storage too.
