Love the towel
I have had a small blue pocket towel that my friend used to use - I always loved it, not just for sports and camping, but also to dry my hair! And as we were preparing for this big road trip, I paid attention to the label on my favorite 8 years old towel and ordered from Sea to Summit. I ordered Pocket and Drylite because I coudln't tell which one it was - we love the silky and lighter texture of Pocket Towel more than the suede and thicker texture of DryLite. Now we also use them to dry dishes and dry our hair and I am debating to throw out all my other dish clothes. Just getting the most out of these towels!
Nice luxury item to pack that can be used for camping, for the gym bag, or other uses
I wanted this product as my luxury item. I have used camp towels in the past, and I just tend to not like the smaller towels, even though they pack smaller. So, I ordered the largest towel. Overall, it packs reasonably small. A bit difficult to get back into the carrying case after use, however. Maybe having a sack or compression sac would be better than the case. It did an outstanding job drying me off and drying my hair. I liked the snap on the towel to hang it up to dry. It dried very quickly, so I could hang it in the Jeep when we drove to our next destination, and it would be dry even with closed windows. I plan to use this towel in my gym bag and at the pool; it will be much more convenient than my beach towel (I swim laps at an outdoor pool in the summer). It would be a great dog drying towel, too.
Most useful thing I bought for traveling
It's no surprise based on other reviews, but these towels are amazing. They really are quick-drying and soft to the touch. I have the pocket towel and XL towel and they were both lifesavers when a lot of my hostels either had no hand towel or a communal towel. It was so nice to have a towel for showering/beach and then a smaller one for drying hands and face after the bathroom or to wipe sweat. I could not recommend this product enough! Run, don't walk!
Great Quality and Easy to Carry
I love these towels, I also have a medium and a large from a previous purchase. They soak up everything, dry super fast, and are so easy to carry around thanks to the EVA case. I love everything to have its own place and you never have to worry about losing it this way. Thirsty little towels perfect for the trail. I enjoy hiking and needed a face cloth, I will also be taking them with my to my Peace Corps service in June.
Just the right size!
International travel needs to be light, compact and easy to access on a train, plain or restroom. The Travel Light system fits all of these needs. My wife and I are retiring and on our way to Scotland! The Traveling Light system is just the right size for a small travel bag and it is TSA approved. System Includes: Travelling Light Hanging Toiletry Bag / Traveling Light TPU Clear Zip Pouch with Bottles / Pocket Towel
So good. Excellent texture that
So good. Excellent texture that isn't "slimy" like some pack towels are. Get the XL if you want to cover all your bits. I am a pretty small woman and can barely manage with the large if I'm trying to take a wilderness bath. But the large is great for backpacking if you want to go really light.
Favorite travel towel by far
Out of all of Sea to Summit's towels, this one is my favorite. It's the lightest and most compact, but I feel like it still is absorbant enough for my needs, despite it being the most ultralight. I think the material is also quite unique for a microfiber cloth - it feels very silky.
Great towel!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light and packable and worked well to bring along for a backpacking trip to use to dry off. This size is not large enough to wrap around to cover all your parts, but works to get your body dry. Dries quickly. And repacks I to it’s original casing for easy storage.
Perfect addition to my gear for getting wet.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took this backpacking to a relatively large lake that included some rock cliff jumping, after cooling off quickly in the cold water, this was the perfect thing to dry me off. Best part is once I was done, this too dried quickly so I could pack it back up.
Best Backpacking Towel Ever
I love my pocket towel! It's tiny, the weight is very little but is still big enough to effectively dry me and wrap around my shoulders and it dries super quick. And it takes up so little space in my pack.
