Bring back the original Ferrosi skort

I have 5 of the original Ferrosi skorts from 2015-2018 and they are FAR superior to this updated version. The original has a zipper and button fly, is way more flattering and FUNCTIONAL than an elastic waist. As others have stated, this one if for activewear only. The original version worked for everything, including casual wear and was super comfy. Before the style was totally changed (ruined imo), the fit of the Ferrosi was messed up and weird so I stopped buying in 2019/2020. All of my older OR skorts (Astro from 2021 is my favorite, and Espresso from even earlier) are much preferred over any newer styles.

Lovely skort

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great Skort overall. Would love more colors. - Color: Rhubarb is Beautiful bright watermelon/neon red color - Fabric: The fabric shorts liner are super super soft on this updated version, improved from last season. - Skirt fabric is cooling, and quite stretchy - Fit: fit improved from last season (last years version was baggy in the hips and butt, this year's version is as I'd expect, slimmer and true to sizing) - great pockets - Style: makes summer a little more fashionable than running shorts. Love wearing these on the weekends for hikes, and around for errands!

Super durable!

I have had this skort for about 3 years and it still looks as good as the day I got it! I typically wear it for work and to the farmer's market more than I do hiking, but it wears extremely well and goes well with a lot of tops! It is super stretchy and comfortable. It has been worn and washed many times and is still holding up well! This isn't surprising though, since it is Outdoor Research and I have yet to be disappointed by one of their products.

Favorite Skort

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my favorite skort (own 3) and really like the updated shorts. Fit, length, material, and pockets are awesome. I would buy more if it came in more colors (dark green, grey). I wear these skorts pretty much every day in the summer. I don't love the black OR/tag branding on the skort which is super visible on the red and khaki colorways; it makes it harder to "dress up" Also, the drawstring is oddly short. I'm 5'8, 165 and bought the large.

Less stretch than other ferrosi

I love the ferrosi fabric for the balance between activewear (like ferrosi pants I use for hiking) and everyday (like the ferrosi joggers I wear around town). I was hoping this skort would be perfect for errands, hiking, neighborhood walks, but the waistband is SO much more restrictive than their other products, so I'll unfortunately be returning or see if they can exchange up a size

Liked the original version

Please, please go back to the original version. The material is fabulous but the style is way too casual to take you from a hike anywhere other than somewhere completely sporty. The other version could be worn nearly anywhere.
