Big safety for big crash
My 6 year old was going blazingly fast from a downhill boardwalk to a downhill gravel path and had a major crash. Smashed his forehead on the ground hard while still sliding fast. His helmet protected his head perfectly. The thickness of the front of the helmet prevented his face from getting sliced up by the gravel while sliding fast while crashing which I'm also thankful for. Also get your kid gloves because they protected his hands too despite his chest and elbows and knees getting cut up by the gravel. I'm getting another of these due to the safety. The cheap helmets at big box stores are not MIPS rated!
Great Fit and Easy to Adjust
My 2-year-old daughter really liked this helmet. It fit her comfortably and she never complained about wearing it, which is a big plus for us. I also really like the color and how cute it looks on her. There’s a good range of adjustability, so it was easy to get a secure and comfortable fit, and it seems like there’s room to adjust it as she grows. Overall, we’ve been very happy with it!
Helmets and box are great!
Love these helmets. They fit better than the older model we had. We’ve got all three of our kids ages three, five and seven in the youth size. The box they were delivered in was a bit hit too!
Roc Loc lost its lock
The Roc Loc system lost its grip after 2 years, so it can't achieve a snug fit any longer. The system can't be replaced, it's out of warranty. Disappointing outcome from what is usually a solid product.
Great helmet, even for kids with big noggins.
My kids got a dome and this helmet fits his observatory quite well. He’s very comfortable in it and it breaths quite well. Very happy with this product!

Good helmet for a child
Provides good coverage and the adjustment in the back helps secure it. Only negative is I was barely able to adjust the chin strap small enough to keep it from sliding back on her head.

This is a great helmet, but the strap keeps coming loose. I’m thinking of returning it since it should not have any problems at the price. It’s a solid helmet and fits my son comfortably. He likes it. The color stands out and his head is protected. It’s a good helmet.
Very little adjustability on strap position
The construction is really nice, the MIPS is a great feature, and the look is great, but the straps are not adjustable near the ear. If your kid's head is shorter than this helmet is built for, they're just out of luck with the fit because you can't adjust the shape of the strap triangle over the ear. For something so basic on an 80+ dollar kids helmet, I didn't even think to check. Kids come in different sizes and it's a bummer that the chin strap positioning on this doesn't address that.
